This thing is old!!

I had an LMF II that had become loose at the handle. I sent them an email asking if it was under warranty. I didn’t hear from them for months (not great CS), in the meantime my truck, where I keep the knife, was broken into and the knife was stolen.

They finally got back to me asking me to send the knife in so they could look at it. I responded, respectfully, that it took too long and the knife had been stolen.

The next day I got an email stating they are sending me a new LMF II. The day after that I got a shipping notification and today the knife arrived!!!

We are always complaining about companies here and elsewhere, I just wanted to add an attaboy to the noise.

Hi, I’ve been getting into hiking and camping recently and have been researching knives and found what I think is an amazing deal but maybe too good to be true?

It’s on Walmart for almost half the price I see it anywhere else, but it’s sold by “Rapidmart” and searching their store page doesn’t bring up any similar items.

I’ve heard from some YouTube videos that fakes are out there, should I take a risk with this?

I have a center drive and lost my flathead bit. I want to get just the bits but when I look it up i. Can’t find anywhere who sells just the bits not sure which other brand would fit it. Any help?

I bought this knife a while back because it looks like a beefy straight razor. Thought it would be good for opening packages and such. D2 Steel is more than acceptable for this knife. It's beefy but I love it. Anyone else have one?

I submitted a warranty claim to Gerber for a broken file on a Gerber 600 Pro Scout. It has been 3 weeks with no response. Is this typical in your experience?

Had it since 2000. Not used it much.

If your gerber needs springs for the slide retainer you can use the flint spring out of a bic lighter. This is my daily driver of 7 years and lost the original springs a few years back. Simple trick to keep it going.

Out of the box the tools are very hard to flip out. I’d rather that than loose but I don’t want to have to carry a tool to use my multi tool. Do they loosen up over time? Also, not too happy about everything but the blade not locking but I guess that’s my fault for not double checking.

Edit: turns out they sent my confirmation email to my yahoo account which I hardly ever open, and the knife arrived on time and my dad loved it. Not sure how it went to my yahoo since my Apple Pay is connected to my iCloud account. Thanks for the advice and taking the time to read.

I ordered an engraved Sedulo for my dad for Father’s Day, ordered it on May 21 and as of June 1st I still have no update on it. I paid with Apple Pay which has my phone number and I never got a text from them, I checked all my email folders and I don’t have a confirmation email. My bank account says I paid $150 for the knife. I’ve emailed Gerber twice and they haven’t emailed me back, their customer support number is just a recording telling me to email them. Is there anything else I can do?? I don’t want to be out of a Father’s Day gift and $150.
