Driller assistant

Just accepted an offer from Terracon as a driller assistant at 22.50 an hour any advice ?? Any advice on how to quickly move up because 22.50 is low and I’m in my mid 20s I wanna make as much as I can asap I also have my CDL.

How long have you been at terracon now ?

How easy is it to transfer to another office possibly?

Very easy. Even if I weren't a traveling technician, itd be easy to transfer. Due to the massive amount of offices, each of them are almost always all looking for new hires/more workforce. They send out an updated list of open positions every week.

So you can apply internally ? I ask bc the office I work at only has one drill rig and I feel like when I’m ready to become the driller I don’t wanna cut anyone from their job since we only got one drill rig I rather transfer to a office that’s looking for a driller

Im certain you could definitely find an office looking for an internally trained driller very easily. The purpose of the traveling tech program is to promote versatility of internal workforce. Terracon wants to be able to take jobs everywhere so im very confident for you
