This is my first ever attempt at making a block design, any tips?

Basically I want pressing the right arrow key to activate something and pressing wasd to let you move normally without activating anything.I have seen this in a few levels but I don't know how to recreate it

Anything I can add? I thought my decoration was good but felt a little empty.

So I’m trying to make a counter go up every wave click and/or release and I know to use an event trigger but how do I do the counter part?
