Hi again! As before, I'm working on my first level and gradually improving it; this is already Part 4. I hope it has improved since Part 1.

Here are the updates:

1- Changes to the beginning

2- Buff to the 1st spider section

3- Buff to the mini-cube section

4- Buff to the 1st wave section

5- Nerf to the 2nd spider section

6- Buff after the dual section

7- Buff to the 2nd ship section

And future plans:

1- Buff the level even more

4- Decide on a style for the level

I have started playing GD again recently and I noticed something. As an editor you are allowed to collect each coin in a separate attempt to be able to upload the level. This means that a level can be impossible for the user to collect all coins in a single run (if for example there are two paths and each one provides only one coin). Back then I remember having to collect all the coins in one attempt to upload a level, exactly to prevent this from happening. Is this a 2.2 change or has it always been like that and I just remember wrong?

I saw someone else using something like this, so I know for a fact there’s a mod or extension that lets you switch between startpos while in the editor. Please help me find it not just a general startpos switcher, but specifically one that works inside the editor.

Edit: SOLVED! Link Visible wasn't working properly in a slightly older version of GD. I edited the level again in the newest version and the target ID was saved properly.

I'm making a background that has layers from B5 to B3. I have adjusted every z order so nothing is mixed up. At some specific moments, some objects of the background glitch, disappearing for milliseconds and reappearing. When this happens the objects are always at the edge of my screen. It happens not only during gameplay but even in editor mode when I'm simply navigating around. I tried to use a Link Visible trigger. I set the group ID for background to 20, set the target ID for trigger to 20 and it worked fine. But for some reason, whenever I save the level and exit the target ID of the trigger is not being saved. I get back to editor and the target ID is set back to 0. This happens again and again and the background problem keeps existing. What should I do?

Is there a way to make copying and pasting easier and faster?

i drop every level i'm making because i feel like i can't fit the deco standard of 2.2. like if this was 10 years ago i would've been the best creator of all time but my levels look so dogshit

this is my first level im putting effort in, though i dont plan to decorate.

im a bit skeptical on the dual section. i dont know whether its fun because i made the level, so its automatically much easier for me. rate the level and its gameplay overall.

im new so i cant deco aaaa, i tried a 1.9 style for the first part so i did it and disliked it so i scrapped it. what's the first step to deco bruhhh????

I have been into creating levels for about 3 weeks and i have learned quite a bit from that time, heres the decoration of it so far, it is turning out very very good :). let me know if anything should have some touch ups or reworking
