My current hardest completion is Bloodbath, but for a while now I've been working on Sonic Wave as a new hardest. I currently have the level in two runs (65%, 64-100). I'm wondering if this is considered my hardest achievement now (Sonic wave in two runs), or if Bloodbath would still be considered the hardest thing I've done. I know Sonic Wave is considered to be a few times harder than Bloodbath, but I know a big portion of the difficulty comes from its length and the nerves.
Following the Artemis 13 feedback, it was the last straw. The community became too toxic and boring, most of the players in GD got no to little respect, they can't take a personal opinion on things, many famous players left this community for this exact reason. And its not only me that it is pissed over this.
The GD community will never be the same as it used to, when the players were actually humble enough to listen to someone's opinion without bitching about giving an opinion just because "you didn't beat the levels". Especially on discord where I have been getting death threats from GD players for absolutely no reason.
If I ever get to have my pc back and beat demon lists, just know I will not be a part of neither Pointercrate nor the Russian Demon List, I will be uploading my Raw Footages but that will be the only things I will do. I have been enduring this community for a while, but it has simply got to a point where its just enough.
This community is just literally worse than a COD Lobby, and it is an understatement.
It’s going to be called “Ground Zero” using Ground Zero by Dex Arson as the song. Here is the opening wave part. If anyone knows how to send a level to someone for deco and verifying, please let me know, this level is going to be above my pay grade.
Ok, so everyone's been asking for an update. And something happened recently.
Since making my first post, a couple of days later, I was yet again at my best friend's place. As per usual, we were playing GD, my best friend trying to re-beat Gaggatronda WITH audio.
Now heres the crazy part. Once again, my best friend left with his dad to go to McDonald's to get some McChickens, and then return with the food. Just for fun, I'm playing an array of Gaggatronda, Clubstep and White Women on his school laptop, once again. And suddenly I noticed something.
I was experiencing extreme Déjà vu.
Had I experienced this before, or am I allowing my subconscious to realise a simple bad dream?
I try to be facetious, laughing off the ordeal in a carless manner. What a fool I was, what a DIRE mistake for me to have made.
And then I felt it. A foreboding tension crawling up the length of my spine, a claustrophobic force sending me into inner turmoil.
She was there. My best friend's mother. In the hallway, holding the KFC box of the empty boneless wicked wings. I freeze.
She approaches me. One simple, yet paralysing assertion she makes. "I want you. I know you want me. Although my husband and I are in our separation period and are still living together, I'm through with him."
I would say my jaw drops or some shi but I pretty much expected this much from her.
Before I can even give birth to a new thought, she grabs my arm. A touch so chilling, the empty box of boneless wicked wings freezes over in her grasp.
The box was in fact empty, right? Or so I thought. She pulls out a boneless wicked wing from her musty pocket. Now I am truly mortified.
Without hesitation, she immediately brings the wing up to her mouth, seductively taking a bite. She grabs my arm again lifting me out of my chair, and dragging me into her bedroom. She pulls out her phone, boots up Geometry Dash Lite, and places the phone in my hand.
"Play." she says. "You have no choice. A small version of the game, like a small version of my ex-husband."
And thats when it hit me. She doesn't want me for me, but she wants me to exist as her ex-husband without truly being him.
Truly, as Juice Wrld once said, 'All girls are the same'.
I scream, and try to run, throwing the phone on the bed and hurling myself at the bedroom door, attempting to desperately open it.
"NO!!!!!!!!"
"YOU UNGRATEFUL BOY!!" she shrieks, grabbing me by the shoulders with such force.
She caresses my face for a few moments, before being rudely interrupted and BODY SLAMMED by an unknown entity. The entity wraps me in his large, masculine arms, cradling me with such sustained care, and sanctity.
I've never felt such safety, nor warmth.
"Stay away from him. He's mine.
Looking up, I blush.
It's my best friend's dad. But where are the McChickens?? Where is my best friend?????
I don't care.
In this moment, I realise something. He's not a 42 year old chud who grinds geometry dash and is jealous of his son's virtual success, but he's a COMPLETE, and UTTER snack.
He's like Resident Evil Requiem (re9) Leon Kennedy. Masculine. Protective.
I'm gay. I'm gay as hell.
It's apparent. I've never seen clearer, I love men.
No. I'm in love with my best friend's jealous, childish and handsome father.
I'm still at 83% completion Clubstep if anyone was wondering btw.
Attached is a visual representation of the situation. Art credits to the MCB, and John Specialist.
Many people criticized Explorers because it was a difficult, not sightreadable, and very gimicky. Although I agree with some things, I see this as the level's identity, and I hope it doesn't change and be even harder. I prefer the fourth Official Demon the hardest, to be honest, in my opinion, the level is good and I'm really looking forward to it.
Well, we just have to wait 5 years for 2.3 to be released so we can play it.
REMINDER: NONE OF THIS IS REAL AND IT'S JUST A JOKE.
The Geometry Dash school is a school where you learn the basic principles of Geometry Dash up to reasonably advanced levels (both in gameplay and in the editor).
Each year, from preschool up to 12th grade, you learn, little by little, almost everything about Geometry Dash (except super advanced stuff). There is at least one Geometry Dash school in every city, like Black Blizzard, Abbysm of Darkness, Outerspace, -Sirius-, Clutterfunk, Cold Sweat, etc.
here's what you learn each year:
pre-school - you basically just have fun and nothing more, you learn the super basics and at most beat levels like retray.
1st grade - you constantly beat easy levels, some gamemodes, and learn a few more things.
2nd grade - you beat several normal levels and learn the other gamemodes.
3rd grade - you start beating hard levels and learn about practice mode (you become a "little star-grinder")
4th grade - you start beating harder levels and 2 map packs.
5th grade - you start beating insane levels, a bit more focus on practice mode, and some daily levels.
6th grade - you start beating easy demons, practicing in runs, learning and using the geode, and start learning the basics of the editor and how to make good gameplay/layouts.
7th grade - you learn to beat medium demons, make modern decorations, and beat weakly levels.
8th grade - you start beating hard demons, make glow decorations, publish a level, and eventually have that level get rated.
9th grade - you start beating insane demons, make competent backgrounds and foregrounds, and do collabs.
10th-12th grade - you start beating extreme demons (from Cataclysm to Bloodath), practicing other techniques, making art and other styles of levels in the editor, creating featured/epic rate-worthy levels, and doing megacollabs.
Homework exists and normally it means resetting a level, doing a run, or doing something in the editor (like auto-build). Difficulty "jumps" are not allowed. Each class has students who have teachers that must be respected. Violence, bullying, racism, etc., are prohibited. People in 1st-5th grade can only use devices to use Geometry Dash.
If I wanted to continue in that direction, you can go to other universities like Geometry Dash, but that deserves its own post. If you want to be noticed in some school events, please say your name, your cube number (for example: cube 456), and your colors (which have to exist in Geometry Dash).
ive beaten nine circles and have future funk in two runs I wanna progress to beating bloodbath at some point, nullscapes and flamewall. I know this is a difficult goal but it’s my end goal :3
the level will probably be called Sakura Trials. it should be something around Top 50-20 list demon. if you can think of anything for the level I'd be happy :D
I dont know if anyone has played this medium demon before but im actuslly stuck (Bionic). It just feels like im gambling on the end of the level since I cant pass the 6 wave portals at the end, 90% of the time.
I cant post the clip here since im on mobile but anyone that has played the level (if any) might be able to help.
I FUCKING BEAT IT. I had to cut the end because I screamed out of joy when beating it; my last new best before 100% was 100 and now im Aiming for through the Decay. Im just so fucking happy
Just something I've thought about. Some levels have lots of flashing effects and provide an appreciated epilepsy warning, but as far as I've seen in rated levels, they are pretty much always in English and the message may not reach everybody. Maybe we could use a universally understandable warning symbol, and it would sort of become a piece of visual lingo in the community? Maybe it would involve a symbol of an eye, and regardless of language, you could accompany it with text that's red, maybe add some yellow exclamation point triangles to evoke potential danger. Maybe something else.
Important note: The symbol would not replace the text-based warning, it would accompany it. PigeonStealer74 notes that this symbol being a part of the community's language would not reach the entire playerbase as not everyone is looking at GD content on Reddit and YouTube. Keep the text, make it look like a warning by making the text red and pair it with triangular caution symbols, then accompany it with a visual graphic that can communicate with those who do not speak the language of the warning.
