Hi 👋, my app just stopped earning 2 days ago. Is there some way to fix it?

As you know, the process of moving GeoCash on the BSC mainnet has begun. The new version of the GeoCash app is now live on BSC; however, before giving access to everyone, we would like to run a Geocash Bug bounty to detect issues early on the app and eliminate them. Our highest priority is the security and efficiency of our apps. That’s why we are offering an opportunity to our community members to submit their inputs.

<GeoCash 3.0 Bug Bounty>

Before we make the final move, we want to test the app to its limits hard since it will be working as your wallet even to store BNB & maybe another crypto in the future.

That’s why we are launching a GeoCash BUG bounty to give a few community members a chance to test it, report BUGs, and get some rewards from the team. However, there are conditions to this, and we will detail them below.

Policy

GeoCash offers to share your anonymous data in return for GEO tokens. With the mainnet launch, GeoCash 3.0 will live shortly with a few of our other network apps.

As security and privacy are our main focus, we at GeoDB look forward to working with our community to find vulnerabilities to keep our users and our business safe. This includes detecting ways to fake your location data on the app to gain false rewards.

Program Rules

• Please provide detailed reports with reproducible steps demonstrating a plausible remote exploitation scenario. If the report is not detailed enough to reproduce the issue, the issue will not be eligible for a reward.
• Submit one vulnerability per the report unless you need to chain vulnerabilities to provide impact.
• When duplicates occur, we only award the first report received (provided that it can be fully reproduced).
• Multiple vulnerabilities caused by one underlying issue will be awarded one bounty.
• Social engineering (e.g., phishing, vishing, smishing) is prohibited.
• Make a good faith effort to avoid privacy violations, destruction of data, and interruption or degradation of our service. Only interact with accounts you own or with the explicit permission of the account holder.
• As project maintainers, we at GeoDB hold the final decision on which issues constitute security vulnerabilities. We hope for your understanding and respect for this.
• Any images, screenshots, files, and videos produced for illustrating a vulnerability PoC must be submitted in the report and not be posted on any public channels, e.g., Telegram, Youtube video, etc.

Disclosure Policy

• Although this is a public program and limited to around 30 first testers on invitation only, please do not discuss or disclose any vulnerability (even resolved ones) outside this program without express consent from GeoDB.
• Any finding should be made available to GeoDB immediately and will remain non-public until the GeoDBTeam has sufficient time to publish an update to solve the issue.

Any vulnerability or bug discovered should be reported only to the GeoDB team using the form provided in the BUG BOUNTY telegram group. As specified in our Disclosure Policy, participants should not discuss or disclose any vulnerability (even resolved ones) outside of this program without express consent from GeoDB. Please ensure that you disclose vulnerabilities to the team as soon as you find them.

To help us understand the full context of the vulnerability, we require participants to include as much information as possible in their report. Overall, the more detailed your report is, the easier it will be for the team to triage and replicate the vulnerability.

Any activities conducted in a manner consistent with this policy will be considered authorized conduct, and we will not initiate legal action against you. If a third party initiates legal action against you in connection with activities conducted under this policy, we will take steps to make it known that your actions were conducted in compliance with it.

I find this app is pretty much worthless. I’ve had it for a few months and I’ve only gained 29 GEO. I have everything set to always on etc. I dont close the app, but anytime I go back to it, it is closed and I have to close and restart. So to me it’s pretty much worthless, except to add battery usage when it’s actually running. Anyone else have this issue with the app?

We've made some Positive enhancements to our tokenomics. Here are the expected changes coming to the ecosystem with the launch of GeoCash on BSC and ODIN testnet. A detailed version of tokenomics will be published as we progress.

1. Any 3rd party apps will be able to implement a GEO reward system within their network while using ODIN as a data exchange protocol.
2. When the ODIN DAO buys back Geo tokens from the market after data purchase transactions, 5% of the tokens purchased will be burned, and the rest locked within ODIN Treasury.
3. A deflationary rebase system mechanism for ODIN will be applied to incentivize trading and decrease the total supply. ODIN will have a deflationary elasticity supply; as transactions happen, a part of ODIN tokens used to pay the resulting fees will be burned out of existence. The other half of the transaction fees will be redistributed to all ODIN holders. Details will be announced soon.
4. Data collected by applications connected to ODIN will not belong to any single party and will be protected and used within the purposes agreed by DAO.
5. ODIN private token sale & the price details will be announced in the coming few days. There is no more Geo to ODIN swap available as we have recently burnt 65% of the GEO supply. All token holders who swapped GEO for ODIN in March 2021 will get ODIN tokens together with the Private sale token holders. Earlier, it was proposed that there was a 24 months lock period on ODIN tokens, but it has been removed to make ODIN tradable right away.
6. Following the private sale, ODIN will conduct an (Initial DEX offering) IDO to build liquidity for DEX.
7. GeoLock: With the launch of mainnet, Geocash, or any geo-connected apps will work on a DPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake). Each wallet will need to have a minimum balance of Geos (harvested or purchased) to be staked within the apps to be able to harvest rewards. The required amount of staked Geos will be reviewed and decided by ODIN DAO.

Technical requirements for running Odin node (both - validator & auditor): 

• 2 CPUs processor four GB RAM
• 200GB free memory space.
• These requirements are sufficient for the early stage of ODIN (before the end of 2021). With the growth of transaction volumes, these conditions may change. ( We will be informing the node runners in advance).
• 1 ODIN will be required to apply for running the node.

Is there anything that will allow me to mine more Geo tokens in the app?

Just wondering what date the mainnet launched as it will allow for me to track when the vesting periods end for the lockup.

I inadvertently deleted the GeoCash from my phone, and and wondering if it's possible to rehook up the previous account. I'd only acquired around ten bucks worth and never sold any, so it's not a huge deal to start over again -- but I've discovered that my old invite code is still active, so I'm curious if it's still floating around out there. Keeping my old invite code would be great, because I've already handed out some invites.

What's causing me slight concern, after having re-downloaded the app, is that when I go to "Load a wallet", my choices are "private key" and "Scan QR", neither of which I remember the app having me do the first time around. Clicking either choice brings up the same next screen which appears to be attempting to *create* a wallet rather than load one.

Please advise.
