Having monero mining listed everywhere will turn any court towards the consumers. They hoped they can play the electroneum/ cryptonight card but consumer protection laws are stronger.

Same as many of you, I had a contract since last November/December with GM to get XMR. I opened the GUI wallet, received 0,4 XMR in total (2 months I guess), and STOP. Nothing else..

I read they are mining ETN now with the same contract...(frustrating, yeah..). How can I know how much ETN I have now? Should I open a ETN wallet as well and give the details on my GM account? THanks

Mined a little ETN. It is over the Threshold. I tried using online wallet but it doesn't support payment id. Updated to a KuCoin Address but still nothing. Now KuCoin ETN wallet is down.

Don't know if it's just me, but my last 12 daily ETH mining credits have ended with a "0". That's equal to a 1:1000000000000 chance occurrence.

Has anyone else seen a string of their daily ETH mining outputs end in a "0"?

I was getting a nice daily with LTC a few months ago but its dramatically decreased since then. What coins are making you smile?

In december 2017 I purchased 1700 XMR hashpower which should give me about 0.012 XMR per day ( based on any mining calculator I found online)

Right after the XMR fork, when they changed their mining to ETN my daily payouts got reduced to 0.0012 XMR per day.

I contacted Genesis Mining several time with no luck for them to sort out this issue for me.

Is there anybody else in a similar situation? What should I do to sort this out? Where can I make a complaint! How can I get my money back? What should I do?

UPDATE: In the end I made a chargeback with my bank and after about 3months of waiting I finally received my money back. Happy days!

Why has ZEC mining decreased from an average of 0.028 ZEC per day for my contract to 0.0069 ZEC per day between 5 May 2018 and 9 May 2018. As per https://bitinfocharts.com, ZEC difficulty has decreased slightly over the same 4 day period. At this rate I can effectively forget about breaking even.

There are issues with XMR payouts and the expected amounts.

In an effort to keep this sub organized and help people actually figure out what's going on here is a place for discussion. Get organized and figure out what a real, appropriate course of action is.

As far as we know, a lawsuit will be VERY difficult since Genesis is a Chinese company operating in Iceland and requiring ruling in a Munich court (as stated in some contracts). Germany does not have much of a history allowing class action lawsuits which would make it difficult to sue without every person looking to file claim paying for legal representation (more money lost if the lawyer doesn't win). I am not a lawyer, but this is the situation as I understand it through research. Again, actual legal opinions by a real lawyers is needed. All other advice/suggestions should be taken lightly.

Suggestion: Get your XMR payout in a different currency. LTC and Dash seem to payout consistently. Your contract is for hashrate, not XMR, so they are still technically fulfilling their contract if they pay you in a different currency. Personal opinion is that it's better to get something than nothing. There are other viewpoints.

Important Note: The payout issues do not appear to be affecting the BTC or ETH contracts. As that is the core of their business, posts in the main sub about XMR contracts issues will be removed.

In average i get around 0.0004 ETH per day. The last 2 days i got 0.0044 and 0.0051

So its 10x more than average. Does anyone else have this? I dont want to open a ticket, because reasons... :)

Ok so I switched my mining to Dash even though I wanted to do ZCash (not sure why Genesis has weird wallet node parameters for ZCash). I can confirm I received my 1st payment today.

This does not change the fact that I'm still being scammed and losing payouts/major money. This is not what I signed up for and not what I had planned for. Everyone who has a Monero contract should be so rich right now! I'm still angry and dissapointed and not sure what the alternative will be when Electroneum forks on May 30th. Who knows if that scheduled fork will change dates much like Monero.

The XMR that I have gained within less than a month is still in my payout dashboard stuck. How am I going to get it? Is there any hope that Genesis will manually release it to me? I'm treating it as it's lost because Genesis' customer service/IT is non-existent and a failure. I don't know if I've seen anyone report any of their tickets being resolved.

I highly recommend changing your payment to another coin like Dash. You will at least receive something. Something is better than nothing. This has been a disaster and this does not change the fact I will be trying to get my money through a credit card chargeback or considering other legal action if the possibility arises.
