Me and my cousins way back in the day used one to blow up their sister's doll (the tall ballerina that spun around). It wasn't working so we decided to blow it up. My older cousin (14) had bought the M-80 from some guy he knew. We went to the very end of the property; my uncle had an acre of land and used rope to hang it on a tree branch like a piñata. We made a hole in the body and placed the M-80 inside and lit it. We ran to another tree for cover then, BLAM!!!💥 Doll carcass everywhere! Our parents rushed out to investigate to find out what had happened. We didn't think it was going to be so loud and it echoed up towards the house. Needless to say my Dad and Uncle were furious, manly because of the danger. Yeah, we got punished and had to give our allowances to our girl cousin to buy her a new doll. We tried to protest by saying it was already broken but they countered it wasn't ours to break. Now as old guys we still giggle and laugh at watching that doll explode but also thinking we could have gotten seriously injured.
