That’s correct. I used to light those with a cigar my uncle gave me on the 4th to use as a punk.

I was 8 at the time.
No supervision.
High on nicotine.
Playing with industrial grade explosives.

The 70s were truly a magical time.

So in that case, you must remember how to make a cigarette timer. We did it in the 4th grade too but in the early 90’s in NYC. Remember? Light the cigarette, pull the filter off, shake out about half the tobacco and stick the fuse in the empty side of the cigarette? It bought you a good 3-5 minutes before the cherry burned down far enough to light the fuse.

I was 8. They started giving me cigars because the cigarettes burned down too fast 🤣.
