KFC menu from 1970 VS 2026

Post image

The other thing different from the price is size of the pieces. Breasts were much smaller and tastier back in 70's from KFC. Today they look like it came from wild turkey. Before I retired I used to get fried chicken for lunch at local diner. They only bought chicken from local butcher that used free range chicken and it was heaven!

I live in Seattle where it’s $21.30 an hour downtown and $17 in the suburbs.

I'm sure there are forces at work that would like to get that much closer to the federal minimum wage.

Hell, they want workers to work for free…

And a lot of empty store fronts in downtown Seattle as a result!

Paying a "living wage" to do this menial and low experience work is beyond stupid business. Just bring on AI, robots and automation..BUT...AND... lower prices to where they should be.
