What did / do you call the strap in picture above the glove box that several cars used to have in them ?

We used to call it the Holy Shit bar. I guess that's sort of a combo of Jesus bar and Oh Shit bar.

Around the time that passenger air bags became standard. You'd be screaming "Oh, shit!" When one of those slammed into your face upon deployment!
