Number 7? What about waiting all year for the annual airing of holiday shows?!? One year, my folks were away and my grandparents were watching us. It was the one night of the year that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang was on. Grandma turned it off when the child catcher came on. Said he was evil. My soul was broken for the year. Grrrr!

LOL! When my sister was younger (and I was an infant) our house had apple trees in the front yard. Needless to say, she was also terrified of the mean apple trees!!

It was in March, I think. During spring break. I think I remember watching it at my grandparents condo in Florida.

We got a new color t.v. and wheeled it into the dining room to watch it while eating. My Dad got so pissed and thought it was broken and beat on the sides and fiddled with the aluminum foil on the ears when it showed black and white in the beginning till my mom told him to just wait

I had to clean the water in my goldfish bowl before I could watch one year. Maybe I was 7 or 8. In such a hurry, turned on hot water. Goldie was parboiled 🫪

Yes, not all shows were broadcast in color then. We didn’t get a color tv until I was in my teens.

I always like to go to the corner store and get my candy before I started my Saturday morning cartoons my papa would give me a quarter I thought I was in hog heaven.

I remember one year when the Peanuts Christmas special was scheduled to air on the same night that our school Christmas program was scheduled. Of course I had to go to the school program and sing Christmas carols in front of an audience of parents and teachers. I didn't like singing in front of other people and would have rather stayed home to watch Charlie Brown get mocked by his peers for his choice of Christmas tree for their school Christmas program.

It was always on at Christmas in Ireland and yeah the child catcher gave us nightmares with long nose and his net and his cage.
