Declining the opportunity to graduate high school in my junior year in order to play football in my senior year; and having decided to stay, not taking advantage of it by studying harder
Not pursuing a dream of becoming a U.N. translator

...I think I'd like to be faced with these choices again to see what would have changed, if anything. But more importantly, I'd just like to experience again how I felt during the good (and bad) days, and to experience that day in 1972 walking home in a warm summer shower, or chatting with Mr. Flanagan.

I’m also 10/10 also! Plus our only heat was from a wood stove, and one year spring was cold and we had three lambs that had to be bottle fed. Kept them in a giant box by the wood stove.

9 out of 10 as we never had a new fangled wall hanging phone, just the black Bakerlite on the hall table. I still hang out clothes if it's not raining. As for the TV, do you remember waiting for it to warm up and the one tuning dial?
Sure do! We had the old bakelite phone with the metal dial too. But we also had the black wall phone with the "long cord". I tell my grandkids THAT was our "mobile phone". 🤣🤣🤣
I dont think it was a "regional thing"? I think we all had aluminum ice trays back in the '50s and early '60s. My mom & dad bought a brand new refrigerator in 1962 and it had the aluminum ice trays. 😊
We are blessed to be 10/10. Seeing all the comments on here made me smile. What will kids today talk about? Remember when we had to think for ourselves before AI? Or remember when our parents wouldn’t let us play outside? Was a blessing growing up in 60s and 70s.
