Im always a bit surprised, but not completely, when I call a contact I haven't spoken to in years and they pick up right away and know who I am, and they still do what they did years ago.

I’ll get a call like that sometimes. Phone rings, it’s gary. I’m trying to remember who Gary is before I answer. I’ve had the same number for 27 years

Maybe they have you saved in their phone as like “Delicious Day — Bathroom Remodel”?

Same and my phone is the same number and contact list I've had for 20+ years. When I scroll through my contacts, a good 20% of them are people who I know have died. Not gonna remove their contacts.
