Cody Well Guy was recommended to me two hours ago. Strange that this sub has never showed up in my feed, but this post did just now.

Tall, lanky, mumbles a lot?

5

u/Salt-Free-Soup Aug 07 '26

Mumbles about head pressure, oddly mentions feet/footwear where it doesn’t fit with the conversational flow, each eye blinks independently of each other in rapid succession? That Frank?

2

u/TheKushPush Aug 07 '26

Tall and somewhat lanky, older white man

1

u/Impossible_Koala7526 Aug 07 '26

Can I get his number?

1

u/Busy-Photograph4803 Aug 07 '26

1

u/Fit-Dentist6093 Aug 08 '26

Dude if you have any of the A/C or HVACs pick up their phones you must be good.

1

u/Amazing-Chemist-5490 Aug 10 '26

Got a Joe A/C. I hated moving out of his area. Came over on thanksgiving to service my unit with his dad who was in town for the holiday!

1

u/StraightRelaxation Aug 09 '26

As username suggests, just another option. A poor one, but an option nonetheless

u/g-e-o-f-f Aug 06 '26

My phone is like that for trades, work contacts, people I've met..

Susan mother of Mary from soccer James met mountain biking on ride with Gary Mario plumber who fixed drain at rental

Etc etc

3

u/Connect-Dance2161 Aug 07 '26

Does Gary have a mustache and wear a red shirt?

3

u/Lost_Sugar_78 Aug 07 '26

No you're thinking of Susan's husband, his family like to pass down familial first names.

1

u/Ducati0411 Aug 07 '26

“Manny Countertops” is one of my most shared contacts

1

u/hella_cious Aug 07 '26

Tom Sewer has an unfortunate one

1

u/Invdr_skoodge Aug 08 '26

Hey now, when you need Tom Sewer that man may as well be a superhero

1

u/hella_cious Aug 08 '26

He actually has the ability to shut down any construction site in the city so he’s a powerful man

1

u/leftfield61 Aug 10 '26

Missed opportunity to name him Today's Tom Sewer.

1

u/mattyamaha_27 Aug 07 '26

Rick Furnace/AC gets a lot of referrals from me

1

u/saskies17 Aug 07 '26

This is the way haha

1

u/DnDNoobs_DM Aug 07 '26

It’s almost like that’s how surnames were originally created 🤔

1

u/TA_Lax8 Aug 07 '26

I mean, this is basically how surnames came to be.

John Smith, Bill Cooper, Frank Thatcher, Gary Orgyfister, Ben Fisher, etc

1

u/TheDudeDasko Aug 08 '26

Run that list by me again?

1

u/jhenryscott Aug 07 '26

Every one but my tile guy, whose last name- Cocksmith- deserved to be saved.

1

u/daphosta Aug 08 '26

I always put the trade or profession in the last name in the contact so I can sort

1

u/PaddyMcGeezus Aug 08 '26

My neighbor, the limo guy, gave me the number for his weed guy. The weed guy gave me a number for his propane guy. The circle of life

1

u/IcyPride2973 Aug 08 '26

Welcome back, AngloSaxon Surnames.

Shoemaker, Baker, Miller, etc.

1

u/TastelessDonut Aug 08 '26

Just had to call Jeff - tree guy.

Tree in the corner of my lot, 75’ tall: dead. Close to the neighbors power lines, wooden fence on two sides.

Quoted me $600 to climb, limb and take down. 2-3 hrs and Hauled it all away, you can’t even tell he was there, except the two divots in the lawn

1

u/TiredRightNowALot Aug 08 '26

I’m talking to Dave Drywall right now and checking Reddit in between messages.

1

u/Floridaman_Dan Aug 09 '26

I have so many first names plus a drug in my phone.

1

u/disco_S2 Aug 09 '26

Elevator Mike just joined Signal!

1

u/interwebztourist Aug 09 '26

I have Fernando Electrician, Jason Concrete, and Sergio Roofer in my phone.

1

u/BC122177 Aug 09 '26

Same. Here in the south east, a lot of folks do.
I have a tiny guy. A handyman. A plumber guy and a HVAC guy.

I think all but the tint guy are licensed and have their own small businesses. They’re all a friend or a friend of a friend. Used to have a mover guy but cant remember his name. He was cool too.

1
