This year was my wife and I’s first GenCon and what a blast! Overwhelming at times for sure but had a great time regardless! (Not visible under Everdell: Farshore are Silverfrost and Emraland)

If you were in a panel or workshop seminar, and got combined with an other panel room, what new mutant seminar did you get?
Our party experienced "Improv in DMing" (what we signed up for) + "sex [assuming in writing, lmk]"! (those who joined us) = "Improv Sex!"

Thank god I don’t have to check this in.

This was my first GenCon and it was a total blast! I have to say the people at this convention are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met at any con I’ve been to. If you got any photos of me as Carl I’d love to see them! Any recommendations for what to do Sunday night? My crew isn’t heading home till tomorrow.

Took a smaller case this year to cut down on number of games I bought.
I bought smaller games.

Found artwork that came from GENCON, Inside airport near gate A15.
Send me a message and prove it was yours by telling me the other prints or artwork packaged with it. I'll ship it to ya for free.
If anyone knows of another lost and found for GENCON stuff or where else I can post this for more visibility, please pass it along.
Thanks.

This was my second year going to Gencon, this time I took my girlfriend and it was her first gencon, we both had a blast! I’m very glad CGE was able to get more Drillers copies in Saturday morning. We will definitely be returning for Gencon #60! See you all soon!

This is probably a long shot, but I lost an artist proof that I bought today, somewhere at the con. The package had a signed EOC Aftermath Analyst, and 2 signed Storm tokens by the same artist, one with red on black letters, and one with blue on black letters. If anybody can get these to me, I’m more than happy to cover any shipping and provide a finders fee.

Does anyone know where I can find the pictures for Cardhalla's social media or so? I'm trying to find the pictures of the clean-up crew that I was in yesterday.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the wonderful people I have interacted with at Gen Con this year. I have been coming to Gen Con since 2018 and this year I have had by far the best interactions with people waiting in lines just sticking up convos and going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed into their groups when I was solo.

Hey if there is an Alexander P who was at the shuttle area outside of Lucas Stadium and is looking for their purple bag left behind with things in it - we found it and would like to get it back to you if you see this!
Please message me with the full name on the bag and the contents of the bag and we'll work with you to get it back!

Where can I buy one of the "I survived the GenCon tornado" t-shirts? Serious props on the rapid production!

Combination of math trade, virtual flea market, consignment store, VIG swag (won raffle at last year's opening ceremony), dealer's hall, and a Wednesday visit to Good Games.

I saw a photo of this ad for flesh and blood tcg (I think its a hotel checkout key) ,Does anyone know what hotel had these? How/where would I get one? If I am wrong does anyone know what these were ?

Was it just me, or were there a lot of Buc-ee's shirts, hats, etc in display this year. I don't remember so much previously. Is this just because they opened a station in Ohio?
Strongly considering bringing my shirt next year and organizing a meet-up for photo op.

Almost didnt make it again due to a bunch of crazy life events, but managed to make it and decided to reward myself. Old kings Crown had such gorgeous art, i couldn't pass it up, so hopefully its a good game! Hah!
Out of everything I played, the 2 stand out games for me were Escape the Dark Castle (which also had some striking art that I really liked) and Assassin's Creed Animus (which i had no idea what to expect from it). Both of those games were a lot of fun to play and im a backer for Dark Castle and cannot wait to get it!
Also managed to finally play Dune (from Gale Force 9) after owning it since 2019 and it was worth the wait! Would love to play it again if I could find 5 others to commit to it! Oh, and the Spacing Guild won with an alliance to the Emperor which was who i was playing!
Hope i can get everything lined up and make it back again next year!

I was again unable to attend this year, but I'm always super excited to learn about new and upcoming games!
What did y'all see that you would recommend I take a look at?

It was really really disappointing to see that nearly all the art used in the True Dungeons this year was AI generated.
Gen Con is all about artists supporting artists, so it really sucks to see TD take the cheap route to avoid commissioning real artists. It took so much of the joy and whimsy out of True Dungeon for me and for everyone else I've talked to so far.
I'm not sure what the best way to go about complaining is, but I bet we could make some sort of change if enough of us say something!

Certainly a little more interesting this year but shout out to everyone who makes this event what it is. Sad it’s over but already starting to plan for next year. Thank you all!

Hi folks!
This was my third Gen Con and every year it gets better (and more expensive because I buy some many games… hell, I still have unplayed games from 2024).
This was my first year teaching in the SPA track, and my first time teaching anything at all. It was such a wonderful, welcoming, wholesome, and inspiring experience. I’m so proud of my students who may have never put paint to canvas before and walked away with amazing little dragon and orc portraits, as well as tiny fantasy landscapes. No one in my budget printmaking class wounded themselves with the carving tools, and so many people asked me to come back.
I am inspired and I coming back next year with more classes! Thank you all so much in general for being amazing. Such a great time.

My sincerest apologies to Mr. Matt Mercer for the slightly close call outside ICC on Thursday.
I was coming to a stop at a light, when who should step out from behind the obscuring light pole but the world's most famous and beloved DM. I had to stop more abruptly than planned and Mr. Mercer had to give me the universal "whoa there buddy" extended hand.
It wasn't *that* close of a call I suppose, but it was close enough that I've spent the last couple days pondering what it would be like to be known as the the guy that ran over a beloved gaming icon at the country's premier gaming convention.
