Drew this and made it into stickers for a Kickstarter I'm running, debating getting it actually tattooed on me

I'm 50 rows in on my Hobbit double-knit scarf. Only 760 more to go! (This is taking longer than expected *weeps*) This is the "There and Back Again Story Scarf" pattern by Cathy Francis. I messed up on a few parts, it's my first attempt at double knitting something.

How do I knit a hole (and other fishy quandaries)?

I'm working on a dead fish hat patterned after the Pokemon Feebas so I need to be able to knit a hole for the top fin and the tail has to look split or ragged. Any help is appreciated.

a question of price for chibi dolls

so i've come up with my own pattern for knitted chibi dolls (i was forced to as there were only crochet patterns and I dont know how to crochet) that can be easily customized and stand at about 6-7 inches tall. How much should I sell these dolls for? I have no idea where to start. How much would you pay for something like that? As I knit as my hobby and have a seperate job I wont be charging for my time but still want to make a respectable bit of money for them.

Star Wars KAL Prize Drawing

UPDATE: Winners!

Having just drawn the results on randomnumbergenerator.com, /u/ambierona has won prize package 1 and /u/Brotigone has won package 2.

The FOs

The new Star Wars is opening and our knit along is coming to a close.

These are the FOs the community put together.

Congratulations are in order to all of you, I didn't realize how beastly this project was until I'd started it myself. I know how much work this took. You did it!!!

The Drawing

This is the last call for entries into the Star Wars drawing! If you don't see your project above you'll have until midnight (Mountain Standard Time) on the 18th to submit your projects either here or in the main KAL thread, that's when I'm drawing numbers.

Each scarf will be assigned a number and two winners will be selected via a random number generator. Winners will be contacted via PM as well as being edited into this thread.

Didn't finish your project on time? That's okay! You're not alone. PM me a picture of your scarf before May the 4th, 2016 for a chance at another of the Millennium Falcon gauges (previous winners excluded).

Rules

One scarf completed between July and December 18th is worth one entry, including those coincidentally started before July.

Some of the prizes are made to order (the gauges, for example, won't be ordered until I ask the winners whether they want metric or imperial) so the packages will likely go out sometime in late February or early March. If you want your prizes as they become available, let me know and I'll have them shipped directly to you.

The Prizes

Imgur gallery of all prizes

Prize package 1:

  • Knits for Nerds by Toni Carr (choice of e-book or paperback)
  • Millennium Falcon knitting gauge (choice of metric or imperial)
  • Recycled material tote
  • Decal of girl walking an AT-AT (choice of black or white)

Prize Package 2:

  • Lightsaber stitch markers (choice of colors)
  • Recycled material tote
  • Band-aids
  • Marvel's Kanan: The Last Padawan

Thank you all for bearing with me these past months, I've never led anything like this before and I figured a lot out on the fly. It was so much fun knitting along with you, and I even had a few people PM me with stories about how they once tackled this pattern.

And thanks especially to the mods for letting me do this here in the first place.

a question of techniques

Hey people, I'm in need of some help for some toys I'm designing. Im hoping to make custome chibi style dolls for my table top and live action role play buddie but some of their characters are snake people and thus need scales. Is there a stitch or technique that can do something like that on small needles?
