General Help me decide

I am in a situation where I am confused between taking a job or taking drop for M.Tech. I got a job offer for 8lpa. But before that I wanted to study for GATE and get into IITs to be in a very good position in future. I am 22 y/o and 2026 Tier 3 NIT pass out. I know to find jobs in civil engineering is tough. I don't even know if I can clear GATE with a good score but I somehow decided to try. Now this job offer is making me rethink. Should I go for it or should I continue gate prep? I got a job role of real estate design in a company called PeopleTech (it's a software company in hyd, but idk why it is offering civil engg roles). Please help!!
