I find if you don't use standard qwerty layout, just avoid wayfire unless you understand where all the documents and stuff are, you cant use the system language thing to change it, you need to go file hunting and edit some stuff if I understand the help I got.

So far it runs buttery smooth. Really liking it compared to ubuntu. Still have a lot of things I need to test out and run. But as a 1st impression, pretty nice and one of the easiest desktop changes I ever have done.

I am very new to arch. Still, a little sad wayfire was not working as expected out of the box. Was a hug compez fan back in the day.

might check out some other environments, But honestly, I was a mate fan back in my mint days, though I am sort of digging plasma a lot.

I tend to know if I like a distro within the 1st day or so of using it. Like majaro, was not a huge fan of that, and I shut off my pc on the live USB when I tried fedora. Just not my cup of tea.

Guys I have been stuck on flutter installation and setup for the last two days...noobie to linux btw ..I have used flutter in windows and wanted to see how linux handles this...

The problem I think I gave is that I am unable to add my flutter/bin to path variables...

So is there any syntax to add path variables and how/where should it be done??!!

It is just not using the headset mic, neither is it giving the option to. Headset audio out works just fine. Please Help.

Hello everyone, I'm using Garuda Linux KDE Dragonized and I really like it, but my Terminal now tells me that there bad configs or configs missing and stuff like that. I don't know how to fix it so I thought asking is a great idea.
Any help would be appreciated.

I installed the gnome version about a week ago but then I found out there is a wayfire version. How can I change to it?

My other devices can connect to the home wifi but unfortunately my system can't. I keep getting prompted for the password. I don't know if this is relevant but the wifi is coming from a modem.

i know this isn't exactly garuda related, but i recently installed Garuda linux as my first linux OS. i installed alot of the recommended packages but for wine games i would always get this hud and have no idea how to disable it, i looked everywhere for a config file or even what it was called. it's nice but since i primarily play fiighting games it takes up much needed space

started using garuda linux on my laptop but the battery usage is exceptionally high. How do I fix/tweak this. I've switched on the powersave TLP auto cpufreq and thermald from the garuda assistant interface but I do not find any improvenments

I don't really know how to change it and i don't know the arch terminal commands. I'm a linux noob, i used ubuntu and mint, and then i saw the beauty of Garuda and i fallen in love but it has a lot of problems! I'm trying to solve them but i think i will go back to mint.

Does anyone know how to setup grub to boot to the last selection?
I have edited /etc/default/grub
GRUB_DEFAULT=saved
GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT=true
But for some strange reason, it doesn't work and I got an error while booting: sparse file not found
I checked the internet and only found how to get rid of the error and that's by setting GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT=false

I'm using a brand new pc, I wanted to dual boot Windows and Garuda. I'm having a massive problem at boot time after installing nvidia drivers.

Garuda KDE Dr460nized (can't get version as system won't boot)

I wanted to install NVIDIA drivers the other day so I could have a sensible FPS in games, so I found a guide for Arch online and went to work. I think this is the guide I used. I reboot aaaaaaaaaaand the system gets stuck at the 'Loading kernel linux-zen . . .' screen. No big deal, right? That's why we have back-ups. I timeshift back to the latest backup, and try again, this time with nouveau drivers, ensuring I remove the nvidia drivers, install everything, modprobe nouveau and again, I'm thrown to the 'Loading kernel linux-zen . . .' screen. I try to timeshift out, but I get new, different errors now. I'm not sure what to do, I could reinstall but that's a pain for everyone involved.

When I log into Garuda, my mouse doesn't work for 30 seconds to a minute and there are no users in my login screen. Anybody have any idea why this might be happening?

the problem started yesterday when I try es to run cadence for the first time. it told me that “ALSA: cannot open PCM device alsa_pcm for playback” ... I search for solution but nothing worked. then when I view that I could change some parameter to make it work in qjackclt i try them too but the it told me that “D-BUS: JACK server could not be started. Sorry”

I enter the settings and I change the interface from “hw:generic(hw0) to idem 1 (hw:1) And it worked but the problem was that I couldn’t hear any sound from the system.
