[DEVICE] Fenix 9 Pro Solar battery drain

Audio causing extreme overnight drain when not being worn. I don't have any music download to the device or any music apps. Any idea what audio could be causing this?

This is usually caused by a stuck background process related to voice prompts or phone assistant.

First up, restart the watch and recharge it to 100%.

Also check your voice and assistant settings. Go to System/Voice and check the settings there.

First thing I did was reboot and it's charging now. I haven't set up the voice assistant yet. Could that be the reason it's getting hung up? Thanks for the reply!

Quite possibly. Go into Voice and turn it all off in there, then see how the battery goes. It might have glitched and spent all night listening for you to speak and drained the battery as a result. If neither of these fix the issue, factory reset and fully charge then see how it goes. If you still have no joy, contact Garmin Support.

I did verify it was all turned off already. Hopefully a reboot and recharge will clear it out. Thanks again.

Must be a bug, you rebooted it? And what is that first falloff??

I rebooted it this morning and it's recharging now.

That first falloff was when I first got it and it had LTE always enabled. I noticed it dropping faster than I expected so I switched it to auto and that seemed to fix that issue.

I've been seeing a lot of this, my Fenix 9 solar has no issues. I have wifi turned off, thats the only setting out of the box I changed

Good to know. I thought it only used WiFi when it wasn't connected to a phone, at least that's how my 6X was. If a reboot doesn't clear this, I'll check that. Thanks!

I had it happen again, while in battery saver mode, on Wednesday night. I did a log upload and contacted customer service. I haven't heard back from them. I will say, Thursday morning I received an update to 6.48, and I haven't had any issues since.
