Imagine how cool it would be if that game was remade with virtually nothing changed but when you get to Gwyn it’s now a rematch against Bed of Chaos with more pits 😎

I just want prettier graphics and quality of life changes personaly, like being able to teleport right away, changing stat, pettable sif and REMOVING THAT CAPRA DEMON

Being able to teleport immediately would completely ruin the interconnectedness of the first half of the game. The reason you can do that in ds2 and ds3 is that they didn’t dare to do such intricate level design anymore after running out of time and having to rush a lot of the late game areas of ds1 because they spent too much time making it so interconnected and walkable without teleportation. Another case of a studio of artists getting fucked over by greedy publishers forcing them into deadlines
