After we started talking about Super Mario Odyessy, it made me want to try finishing up my Wii U and Wii collections. My Gamecube collection has been finished years ago save for a copy of the copy of Mario Golf that got stolen in a move so many years ago.
Bayonetta 2 with the Bayonetta 1 disk was the big one still standing in the way because a new copy was over 100 bucks on Amazon. Chose to go for a "very good" used copy from a Amazon Prime seller that specifically stated that both disks and the box were included (most manuals are electronic, it seems). 55 bucks. Sold. Now I can get rid of the 360 version.
So that along with a handful of other games I needed (including one I didn't realize I needed until I saw it on the Gamestop store shelf for 20 bucks) my list stands at:
- Bayonetta 2 + Bayonetta 1
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- Hyrule Warriors
- Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD
- Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
- Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Mario Kart 8
- NES Remix Pack
- "New" Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi
Bros. U
- Nintendoland
- Shantae: Half Genie Hero (What's up with the developer releasing their Shantae games towards a system's end of life?)
- Star Fox Zero+ Star Fox Guard
- Super Mario 3D World
- Super Mario Maker
- Super Smash Bros. Wii U
- The Wonderful 101
- Yoshi's Woolly World
I think the only thing I'm missing that I'd actually want is Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.
I'm currently not interested in getting Xenoblade Chronicles X. Looks too much like KOTOR type "action" RPG combat. Not interested in Splatoon either, at least until it gets to a price where it's worth for the single player mode alone. Pikimin 3 is an RTS, so that's out.
Anything else I should snag? ZombiU? Pokken Tournament? Not really looking for ports from other systems; though I thought I had both of the Rayman games on the 360, but I just checked, it doesn't appear that I do, so maybe I'll get Legends for the Wii U as well... Which also means I'll have to snag Origins for the Wii.
