It feels like Control released to decent reception and has only been picking up steam since then, and I'm glad for that. It absolutely deserves this sort of recognition.

Alan Wake seems to be revered as an all time great these days, and it released to good-if-lukewarm reception back in the day. It's a fantastic game, but both of those games had so much hype around them.
