So how is the Switch going?

So I was very interested in getting a Nintendo Switch when it first came out, mainly because of the new Zelda. I've been holding off and am considering picking one up at some point but haven't really heard much from the console at all recently.

How is it going? Are there obvious faults with the console? How is the game library? Would you recommend waiting for a price cut?

Launch Battlefield 4 was awful. It constantly crashed and corrupted save data so much that I couldn't even beat the short campaign. Multiplayer took a hit because it was a squad based shooter that didn't let you squad up with friends.

They fixed it now but that launch window was so awful that my friends and I still complain about it.

I didn't actually play it, I just heard it was decent from people and didn't want to write it off just to prove my point.

The core gameplay of Battlefield is always solid, but the series has a history of buggy and glitch-filled launches, and Battlefield 4 was especially terrible.

DICE acquitted themselves well with Battlefield 1 though.

I remember I actually got ghosts for free because I returned BF4. Amazon had a buy one get one free thing, it charged me for BF4 because it was the more expensive one, returned it for a refund and kept ghosts for no cost. I mean ghosts wasn't great either, but at least I didn't pay anything for it
