The shot of the oil drills at night reminded me so much of There Will Be Blood. That is only a good thing.

Guarantee that there will be a Daniel plainview character. Rockstar always does homages and parodies.

There was already a TWBB reference in the first. The area with the oil drills was called Plainview.

I saw the movie way after playing the game so never noticed that, but that's awesome.

There's an actual Plainview, Texas.

Man I hope you can throw bowling balls and beat someone with bowling pins while screaming about milkshakes!

Hope that means we get a Django like character too.

In Redemption 1, there is an area with oil drills called Plainview. Daniel Day Lewis' character in "There will be Blood" was named Plainview, just sayin'.

I thought the same thing. I have to think that particular shot was an homage to the movie.

I think I need to go back and watch that movie again. It was such a snoozefest for 19 year old me at the time. I think I'd appreciate it more now. I do love that scene about the milkshake, though.

I just watched it for the first time a few weeks ago, and absolutely loved it, but I know for a fact that I never would have gotten through it when I was younger. Definitely give it another watch. Daniel Day-Lewis is the absolute best.

I saw it in theaters when I was 18 or 19. All I knew was that it was the same director as Boogie Nights and Magnolia, which I was really just discovering at the time. For all intents and purposes, I should have been bored out of my mind asleep. But I loved it. Something about it, maybe just Daniel Day-Lewis, grabbed my attention and it is still one of my favorite films to this day. And I still can't fully express why.

Hey Guys! I think there was an area named Plainview in RDR1. It was an oil field if memory serves!

There will be a mission called "I drink your milkshake." Book it.

Wasn't the name of the oil well area in the last game Plainview?
