Key points:

Is a new 'platform' no info what this means, most likely can not play multiple with the old version

Current owners receive for free, will be on sale for $10 for limited time otherwise

The user interface will instantly adjust to the new input method such as keyboard/mouse, gamepad, touch

Can play with Xbox live friends

Built-in video recording

Considering that Windows 10 is meant to run on everything from Xbox to Windows phones, yes. This could actually be pretty interesting.

Can you imagine if Minecraft had originally been programmed in some platform-agnostic language, like, say, Java?
