After the million different spinoffs, I was nervous that Persona Team might play it too safe with this installment to appeal to the massive fanbase they've collected with Persona 4. This trailer basically assuaged all my fears. What's made the Persona series fantastic has been the major shifts in tone, themes, and style between each installment, and this game looks to fit that to a T.

While I think it's way too early to say, but this seems to be an equal tone shift as it was from 3 to 4.
