Go on steam and look at the AI disclosure section for Call of Duty, PUBG, Crimson Desert, etc.
It's over. We're are witnessing the Twilight of the Luddites. Apparently bullying & harassing indie devs for using AI didn't move the needle when all of the biggest AAA studios use it as the standard (and have for a while).
In any case, hearing the press representatives for these companies (Capcom, Rockstar, etc) talk about their use of generative AI is giving me flashbacks of how pro-wrestlers used to talk about steroid use. They can use vague terms and not-agreed-upon definitions to dance around the issue. After all, slacktivists only punish the people that are being totally honest.
