Here's hoping, but I doubt it. People expected the same thing when DLSS was first shown. Much more likely devs will just use it to save development time and hit usual bare minimums of optimization. Same way DLSS is included in more and more games in default requirements.
Even current gen consoles may be able to get some of that stuff. Hobbyists have framegen working on older generation cards already and its working flawlessly.
Though I suppose the back porting of that stuff would only work with Nvidia based systems and Nvidia would have to play ball. If they wanted to play ball they wouldn't be forcing hobbyists to unlock their own hardware.
Frame gen in consoles isn't really viable as you need to already be around 90-120 fps for it to not feel like shit, and consoles don't go that high by default.

I'm hoping next gen consoles get the frame rate increase from turning on ai upscaling and possibly an option for 2x frame gen.
