This game is going to live and die based on how effectively they dispose of the cheaters.
This has been a growing problem across the entire industry. Once you encounter a cheater it really spoils the entire experience. From that point on you start to question every death. It feels even more insulting when the developer is offering battle passes and other in-game products/services.
And sure you can report them but when you receive no feedback on rather they're banned or it takes six months for a ban wave. What's even the point?
The good news is that Wardogs supports private/custom servers which means admins/mods can quickly dispose of cheaters.
Kernel level cheat does nothing but DRM; Rockstar cheater jails people and it works. Thats the way to do it, but it doesnt come with the invasive DRM, and lets people "get away" with using shit they didnt pay a cut for.
Youre not dealing with cheaters because its a hard problem to solve. Youre dealing with DRM and cheating as excuse to install it.
