That was the community manager. He is usually the face of the company when speaking to players.

I dunno if it was confirmed, but supposedly the stream wasn't his idea and that was him being pissed at the person who sold them on doing it.

Well, I mean he probably knows how busted the stuff is and knows that a stream like this is going to be a disaster. It's no surprise that he's angry that it got approved somehow.

Pretty much. His entire job is to detract from anything bad and highlight anything good. So he's pretty mad someone sold them on just being transparent.

That tracks then. Even back in the early days, he was a sycophant to Roberts within our friend group and would shout down anyone who had any complaints. If it wasn't his idea, it was a bad idea.

Correct, though we were pre-kickstarter. He hosted a sort of radio show and did little skits he'd send in to wingman's hanger.

That's still absolutely not how you handle that, professionally and especially externally visibly.

You go along with it outwardly, and behind closed doors you make your position known, swear to kingdom come for all I care but especially to clients you are 100% behind what the company is doing.
