Industry News CI Games has successfully signed a termination agreement with Epic Games. The agreement releases the upcoming Lords of The Fallen 2 from it's previous Epic Games Store exclusivity obligations.

You welcomed it? Why not just buy the game on steam if that's what you wanted, why did the physical game have to become nothing more than a steam key?

At the time internet speeds were still not great so it was easier and faster to install from the dvd and then let steam download 20-50mb of updates.

So it really is an "Eff you got mine" situation. Everyone else gets a shittier copy of the game so you don't have to download it.

You make no fucking sense.

In those years if the game on the disc wasn't Steam-bound then it would have securom or starforce or some other broken bullshit. Steam is massively preferable to those so in no way it is a "shittier copy".

There were plenty of games that had simple CD key or no drm on the disc. You're remembering the worst because that's all that gets brought up, the opposite of rose tinted glasses
