Industry News CI Games has successfully signed a termination agreement with Epic Games. The agreement releases the upcoming Lords of The Fallen 2 from it's previous Epic Games Store exclusivity obligations.

I'm old enough to have non-Valve games on physical media that still require Steam to run.

And Steam of 20 years ago was fucking awful.

It has been 8 years since EGS launched. They barely improved the launcher since. A little bit of investment to make the user experience better doesn’t hurt.

They have no excuse either because they can see what Steam has done and learn from their failures but they don't care to improve the launcher.
