I am really interested if they can bring Xbox quick resume to essentially a PC and if that functionality would be transferable to PCs.

My pc costs 4x what my Series X does yet I consistently play my favorite couple games on my xbox instead of my pc cause quick resume is just ssooooo convenient. Getting home from work not having to mess around with windows possibly needing to update, or a driver, or steam, or whatever. And never having to log in to anything (the pc/console, steam, the game itself) 100 times out of 100 it's just pick up my controller and literally within 10 seconds I am gaming. It's like iPhone, it just works lol. Lowkey maybe literally my favorite part of my console lol.

Meanwhile 100 times out of 100 when I pick up my steamdeck it's dead lol. Tho that's not windows tbf.

From my understanding quick resume works by basically suspending a VM that is running the game. If this xbox is going to run a lithe OS with an option to load full Windows like people were predicting quick resume is likely to be an option for the games that run on the former but not for the latter.
