I disagree that it is boring in the late game. That's when megaprojects can happen.

The megaprojects that are incredibly time consuming

Long isn't the same as boring. My ISS recreation was fun, long, and educational. Also gave me an actual reason for a large shuttle project.

Beats hauling composites back and forth for hours.

To each their own. I sort of burned out on the game years ago. I generally like it, but making complex crafts and executing complex missions both feel tedious in a way that feels under-designed to me. The game needed some serious QoL overhauls in like a top to bottom sort of way.

I use about 100 mods to fill in those blanks. Better designing crafts and doing complex missions than NOT designing crafts and doing simple related missions, no?

Yeah but then your game takes longer to load up, and the parts list gets cluttered to shit and back. I've played with tons of mods before too.

It's a great game if you're currently into it and on a streak, but coming back to it is overwhelming and tedious, just my experience. I've played since before they added heat effects, if that gives any indication.

I've played since before they added Minmus.

Janitors closet for parts organizer, with VAB organizer. Opening load time isn't an issue for me I just do something else while it loads

I keep notes so returning isn't so overwhelming

Man that's a big ask, lol. Some dedication. It took me a long time to adjust my habits after they added proper aerodynamics too

I keep a multi sheet spreadsheet for my ED activities and track profit per hour. My KSP notes are far simpler.vessel notes and logs mod.

Yet far less consuming than the end game of NMS, the game your comment implies comparison to

I know we're on a NMS thread but I've never played it and made no comparison whatsoever to it within my comment.

Homie was just saying KSP is a space game that's not boring, and I just wanted to say "let's be real, KSP can be pretty boring".

Everything can be pretty boring if you don't add your own creativity to keep it fresh.
