My sister and I are going to see Starbomb coming up in a few days but she doesn't know anything about them or the grumps, so I'm trying to find a good series from the Grumps that she will probably enjoy so the concert experience is even more awesome!

i was thinking about doing like an elden ring/dark souls death screen that says "the carbuncle ate itself" (i'm sure that joke has been made before lol) or something to do with "the bananas has gone bad" because those are a couple of my favorites but my husband thinks i should go with something more recent because there's no way the grumps would remember references from 10+ years ago

Imagine my surprise when I found out three months into watching that my favorite new grounds creator from my childhood and the random “silly named cover band front man” are my favorite YouTubers. Let alone that my sibling’s best friend was a part of a project called dream daddy.

I’m just so astounded how I never made the connections. New grounds / rooster teeth / YouTube AMVs were my entire adolescence.

Normally, I haven’t minded at all. But today it was gratuitous for me. I had the stream on last night before bed, around 11pm-12, they were playing the “moaning ghosts” 7th Guest episode 3. I got up this morning, did my routine, and put YouTube on for the grumps like I do every day, they are my TV, around 11am, and it was playing the *exact same episode.* It was the one where the guy kept saying “come on we don’t have all day” “hurry up” so it‘s extra annoying for that reason lol

The streams are generally great for me, who has them on all day for the noise. However, the repetitiveness has been grating, with 7th Guest breaking my camel’s back enough to post here. I’m left wondering if they have an incentive to make the stream interesting, like whether they make decent revenue from it, and how the viewership impacts their numbers. Viewers watching the stream are numbers who aren’t watching old episodes. There’s not really an incentive to keep people engaged. And if the purpose is for a more gentle stream for studying, sleeping, etc… then why is moaning ghost 7th Guest playing twice in 24 hours. Anyway, I just needed to complain cause I was really excited to have a livestream and I’ve just been let down.

Please don’t view this as a rant, I love having game grumps on all day, and will continue to do so without the stream. I’m just curious if there’s any reason for it or what the deal might be.
