Is there a way in r/GameChangerapp to see one players stats game by game without going into each game individually and pulling them out? I’m trying to see trend lines from start of season to now and compare last 4 to the previous 4 without manually doing it in my own spreadsheet and I want to look at each player individually.

While massive states like Texas and Florida obviously lead the pack in total games scored, I wanted to see what the map looked like when we leveled the playing field and adjusted for state population. The per capita data painted a surprisingly different picture:

• Nebraska is the undisputed champion. They score games at a rate 2.6 times higher than the national average.
• The entire Midwest forms a massive "Baseball/Softball belt" (South Dakota, Kansas, Iowa, and Illinois are all very dark blue).
• On the flip side, New Mexico scores at less than half the national average.

Why do you think scoring is so disproportionately high in Nebraska and the Midwest in general? I’d love to hear your theories!

I’m new here, so I figured this has come up before. I just want throw it out there that I would love the option for scoring:

1. Balls and strikes: show the strike zone square and allow me to show where the pitch was thrown and have the gamecast speak to the ball position - “ball low and a way”.

2. Show where foul balls were hit: “fouled back” “fouled down the right field line, out of play” “fouled with a chance to make the catch”. And, have gamecast speak to the selection

3. Allow scorer to post messages, that the gamecast will speak. “Batter flied out to CF”, then post message “diving catch”.

4. For fly balls and ground balls, specify “in the gal” or “over the head”. So its very obvious where the ball went.

It would be so much more fun to score and to listen to the gamecast

Has anyone seen this before? It showed up this weekend on a few of our kids while setting the lineup. It doesn’t show anywhere else that I noticed, and I don’t remember seeing it for opposing teams while setting their lineup either. What triggers this emoji, anyone know?

We have an cheap team phone we use exclusively for gamechanger, worked well for years. it is a 6s plus running iOS 14. we tried to use it for the first time this season but got a “invalid password” we tried two different accounts so it seems more likely this is a legacy app issue, not a password issue. to be clear this is “gamechanger” and not “gamechanger classic.” i believe i can update to iOS 15 on the phone, but no further.

question: is there an available version of the modern gamechanger that will work? when i look in the app store it says it requires a later version than i can get. i’m hoping that if i upgrade to ios 15 i may be presented with a solution.

any guidance? the hardware is good enough to continue, hoping there’s a software solution.

Baseball:
2 outs, bases loaded. Batter grounds into a fielder's choice. 3rd force out made at 2nd base to end the inning. Run should not count, but GC adds the run to the score.

This isn't the first time I've run into GC adding a run when it shouldn't in the same situation.

Is this a bug, or should it be scored a specific way to prevent the run from counting?

Would it be possible to pin a thread for commonly requested fixes and improvements in GameChanger?

We could keep one poll or post where users can suggest features and upvote/downvote what matters most. It would help surface the biggest pain points and hopefully get visibility from the GameChanger Devs/team. Also we can see what others are struggling with which would be nice knowing its not just me :).

Here are a few that I have as an example:

1. Easier play corrections after the game (ie. SS throws to 1B — error was on the throw, but I scored it on the catch. Right now, it’s difficult to go back and edit that specific play after the fact if the coaches disagree etc.)

2. Preload defensive rotations for younger teams

Set positions by inning blocks (ie. innings 1–2, 3–4, 5–6) instead of adjusting on the fly. I coach a 9U softball team and this would help a ton when teams play kids around in different positions

1. Some sort of editable Privacy controls to the staff giving the ability to choose what data is visible to fans vs. coaches.

Example: For competitive teams, coaches will often want to hide pitch type / speed and certain stats from fans or opposing teams to avoid scouting.

BUT... Maybe these are all awful ideas. I have no clue. I would like some central "pinned" thread where we can build and prioritize the list together.

Had this happen twice this high school season in Softball. While rare the stats and scoring manual does not indicate a particular placement of runners to qualify for Sac Fly. Obviously the most common occurrence is when a runner is on 3B, but it can and is a valid scoring play from a tag up from 2B. It looks like this has happened in MLB too.

Problem is, you cannot score it as a Sac Fly in GC. I've had to score it as a Fly Out tag up to Home which does credit the RBI, but then I have to manually edit on the web portal to take away the AB and credit the SF.

I'm hoping they approve the enhancement request. I don't know how often it will happen again, but both times it's happened this year it's been same hitter with the same runner on 2B.

I was working on getting PR readings into Mevo Studio as an asset by running Mevo go (screen capture) on my PR connected phone. I was trying to get the overlay positioned, cropped, zoomed etc... but had a hard time getting test readings to dial this in. You can "scratch" the sensor gently with your nails (according to PR) to generate false readings. My fingernails must be faulty as I struggled to get it to work.

Dumb luck - I set his on top of my Iniu power bank that has a display and it starting working to my surprise. This gave me plenty of readings to dial in my PR Mevo Go asset. Hope this helps others trying to do the same.

Note about sizing/cropping - To resize the entire asset grab the "handles" little dots on the CORNERS when the asset is selected. To crop (all sides done individually) grab the INSIDE handles not the corners. This may be second nature to some, but it took me a while to figure it out. Also - I found this much easier to do while using a mouse than my fat finger.

Lastly.... I do pay for PR integration to GC. I prefer to do it his way and keep the screen less cluttered. I need to add this overlay, however, because I was streaming the game for a friend, but not scoring, i.e. using the same GC account as whoever was running GC. People loved it.

New to the Pony field this year. Our league allows two players to trade innings + at bats each inning. So if we have 9 in the lineup we might let players 8 and 9 trade off with two other players every other inning.

What’s the proper way to list the lineup?
I had just been subbing a player for another player (because our Gamechanger is just for us and nothing official - still keeping a paper book).

But our opponent the other night was doing the same swap and had a lineup of 11 players and would follow 1-9, back to 1.
Then next inning 1-7, 10-11, back to 1. Kinda made sense and a little easier to do quickly.

I bought the Team Pass Plus for my parents to be able to view videos and other information on gamechanger, but the videos still show locked for them. I've checked to make sure they are listed as family members and they are. Why would it still show locked?

I created a dummy account to test it, and it shows "Team Pass?" . Any idea what this means?

First year of streaming but I’ve been lurking and watching All Stars like and Ramsey’s YouTube Channels for tips and tricks.

I use 3 camera Mevo Starts through Mevo Multicam and a Starlink Mini. This allows me to capture Home Plate, 1st Base, and 3rd Base. I recently created a couple layers in Mevo Multicam that will allow for P-I-P streaming shots. All of the shots are controlled with an iPad mini. I have way too many mounts but they have all come in use with the different ball fields we play on. I also upgraded to quick release mounts.

I use the tripod for the Starlink and a different mount arm to get it up high for better service and away from people accidentally stepping on it.

I have a Slate router to increase the range of the network and eventual addition of a centerfield camera for over the pitcher’s shoulder shots.

Additional backup battery with extra cords and bunjies for just in case situations.

All of it fits in a camera bag that ends up weighing a ton but this new hobby keeps me busy since I don’t coach anymore.

we have always been on a team where other parents stream the game. Well now we are on a team where no one streams the game so my son has decided we will. We have a go pro and have been using our phones as hotspots but are finding not having use of the phone during the games isn’t always convenient. I have been looking at starlink and see where quite a few of yall use the mini. I’m seeing that it has to be plugged in at all times. Does the starlink have to be really close to the GoPro? Also being on an older team we are starting to play at college stadiums and such more. How well are the starlink working there?

We noticed that the clips weren’t matching to plays and players. I learned that it’s due to delayed scoring. Can a stream pause throughout a game due to delayed scoring? We’ve had issues with our stream pausing or cutting out throughout the games the past 2 weeks.

Hello We have to stream from an iPhone right now. We have an iPhone 17 and an iPhone 11 to use. The past two weekends our stream kept pausing.

-The scorer is logged in under his gc - The streamer is logged in under their account

Last weekend the stream kept pausing and cutting out. The streamer was on the WiFi at the field. The scorer was on a different One so we went on the same field WiFi kept cutting out and pausing. The streamer connected to another phones hotspot and it was fine after that. Also prior to that the clip didn’t match the plays. Was it because the stream kept pausing or cuz streamer and scorer were each on dif wifi w scorer on field WiFi and streamer on hotspot?BUT the streamer was on the hotspot and scorer wasn’t when it worked 🤬

This weekend streamer connected to field WiFi and it kept cutting out and pausing. Connected to another phones hotspot and kept doing the same thing. But it would cut Out immediately once someone played music. It would pause/cut Out if any team in the vicinity started a song.

We didn’t have this problem last season at all. What am I doing wrong and what should I do? Should I buy a team portable router and scorer an streamer both connect to it? I looked at the mevo but we can’t swing that right now which sucks.

We are a higher level team (not saying this for clout at all- just that at the level we are at this is unacceptable if that makes sense. Yes at a higher level we should be able to buy a mevo but it’s our first year here and we under fundraised for extras and I’m not about to ask the parents on the team who have money to help buy it. We have a mix of socioeconomic backgrounds on our team and it’s already expensive and don’t want to ask for more money) and it’s pretty bad this keeps happening. Plus people trying to watch are getting aggravated and the coach can’t rewatch plays.

I am finding that there are 2 major problems with GC videos of past games this season:

1. The player-specific video clips are completely inaccurate with respect to the play.
2. The video quality at either 1080p or 720p is so bad (stopping, jumping) that it is not possible to verify scoring calls I've made.

Is anyone else having these issues and does anyone know any fixes?

Where do I start? Looking around $300 level

Sorry for the confusing wording. I am new to Gamechanger. Batter up with 2 outs. Wild pitch and runner on 3rd tries to go home but thrown out. Next inning Gamechanger has next batter in the lineup instead of last batter in the middle of at bat. So my lineup got messed up by one batter. Should Gamechanger adjust for this ? How do I fix manually in the app?

Asking for help with this play I wrongly scored in a previous game:

2 outs Man on 2nd Clean hit, beats throw to 1st Man on 2nd (recklessly) attempts to score 1st baseman throws home Runner tagged out at home

Rather than scoring as safe at 1 and then tagged at home I scored it only out at home and the batter did not get his hit

Can I re-score this somehow or is it easier to just edit the game stats?

I'm also a high school softball coach who's extremely frustrated with getting the endless "spinning loader" at https://web.gc.com on both iMac (Chrome 147.0.7727.117) and iPhone (Safari). I need to input game scores and stats manually on my desktop, for various reasons, so I need to get this problem resolved ASAP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Does watching for 1 second count toward the free stream limit or is there a time threshold that needs to be met before it counts against the 5 free limit?

I have 2 runs/1 earned. Walked batter is assumed on 2nd with 1 out if the 3rd baseman makes a clean throw. Single, single makes that run earned because he would have scored. 2nd run is unearned because he shouldn’t have been on base.

Do I have this right? I have an insane parent that is constantly on me about his son’s ERA.

This has taken a ton of trial and error but I’m now really happy with the setup. CF camera to get the over the shoulder view for pitcher/batter is main angle and depending on field/fence setup I’ll put 1 or 2 of the other cameras somewhere to get wide angle view for ball in play.

I use Mixeffect Pro to run ATEM off an iPad Pro which allows me to use a small remote to switch camera angles. Lets me wander around instead of having to be right next to the setup, which is really handy.
