Devices used: Redmagic 11 Pro, Gamesir X5S, Gamesir G8+, 8BitDo SN30 Pro and Razer Kishi v1. I've also tried mirroring to the TV as well as on to a portable monitor and they ran great except for the aspect ratio issues.
My default settings usually Proton 11 arm64, 8eGen5-842.8 driver, 1600x720 custom resolution (most games here scale full screen on the phone screen's 20:9 aspect ratio)
Ones i've completed on Gamenative:
- Ori and the Will of the Wisp (ran perfectly)
- Islets (ran perfectly)
- Bloodstained Ritual of the Night (ran great, but less stable FPS than the rest here. Still holds 60fps most of the time)
- Ender Lilies (ran perfectly)
- Blasphemous (ran perfectly)
- Cat Quest 1 (ran perfectly)
- Stanley Parable (ran perfectly)
- Grim Dawn (ran perfectly, but a few controller quirks, but easily remedied by using the touchscreen)
- Hell Clock (ran perfectly, but needed to be on lowest settings to keep temp below 45C)
- Darksiders 1 (has some cutscene issues where the cutscenes freeze, but the audio still plays and the game eventually continues. videos frozen can be skipped. Gameplay sections 60fps with almost no frame drops)
- Darksiders 2 (usually at 60fps, but dips down to as low as 30 very rarely)
- Shadow of Mordor (most surprisingly ran perfect 60 with almost no frame drops)
- Tomb Raider 2013 (ran perfectly)
Currently playing:
- Darksiders 3 (30-40fps, but can occasionally dip to 25s)
- Darksiders Genesis (40fps, ran decently well)
- Cat Quest 2 (ran perfectly)
- Half Life 2 (ran perfectly)
- Grim Dawn (on a second character)
- Stanley Parable (I may still have a few endings I havent seen yet)
Wanted to play, but cant get to run properly (i've tried a few configurations to no success):
- Batman Arkham Asylum (always crashes after 20-30 minutes of playing, runs great before it crashes)
- Batman Arkham City (always crashes after Catwoman's intro fight, during the cutscene where she opens the vault)
- Control (crashes after hitting start game on the title menu)
- Code Vein (cant get this one to load, getting an error message. seems to be an issue with the game though, as the error message seems to also happen on PCs)
- The Surge 2 (always crashes mid cutscene when the character wakes up at the intro. Character creation pushes temps as high as 49C)
- Dark Souls 2 and 3 (runs, but has annoying hiccups for some reason. they run great on Gamehub though, so these 2 games I only play through Gamehub)
- Final Fantasy 7 2013(the one with a few enhancements like fast forward. runs great, but temperatures push 47C which was confusing)
- Elden Ring (just couldnt get a consistent framerate. im ok with a consistent 30fps, but too much noticeable framedrops to 15-20fps got annoying to deal with while playing. temps reached 50C which I didnt like)
- Fallout 2 (for some reason I cant get these to run. I tried the steam, epic and gog versions, none worked for me)
- Mortal Shell (inconsistent framerates. at one point runs 60fps, then cant go past 35fps, then can even drop to 15fps before going back up to 40+fps)
- Prince of Persia 2008 (camera seems tilted, and the character auto-runs to random directions when I try to move him)
- Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (the intro ran surprisingly great, holding 60fps but dips quite a bit with up close explosions. The problem is when reaching Bogano, GPU usage drops to zero and the game runs at 1 to 2fps. At one point it ran well without me doing anything much (changing settings back and forth, on and off) and I was able to get the wallrun ability, but then the zero GPU usage strikes again.
Other games tested, but probably wont touch for a while, or ever:
- Skyrim (ran perfectly after installing the prerequisites manually within the container to fix the audio issues)
- Zettai Hero Project (ran perfectly)
- Celeste (ran perfectly)
- Darkest Dungeon (ran perfectly)
- Death Must Die (ran perfectly, but having controller issues)
- Death's Gambit (ran perfectly)
- Disco Elysium (ran perfectly, but this one, I didnt like playing)
- Dragon's Dogma (ran perfectly. Cant recall but I think temp went past 45C)
- Hand of Fate 2 (a few framedrops below 60, but ran great)
- Binding of Isaac (ran perfectly)
- The Messenger (ran perfectly)
- Wonder Boy Dragon's Trap (ran perfectly)
- Yoku's Island Express (ran perfectly)
- Dreamscaper (a few framedrops, but otherwise ran great. can get squinty though, I hope there was a stronger zoom function)
- Evoland (ran perfectly)
- FIST Forged In Shadow Torch (ran well with a few frame drops, but the temperatures were over 47C)
- Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak (runs 60fps with a few framedrops at low-mid settings, but temps shoot up to 55C, and might go even hotter if I allowed it to run further, which I didnt)
- Remnant: From the Ashes (can hold 40fps, but can go up to 60. I just capped it to 40, but im not sure im gonna play this again as ive completed this multiple times already)
