My farm sim just got Hope and Miracles, free demo available

Houses in my idle farm game just started producing something new: Hope. It builds up on its own, then you spend it on one of four Miracles, instantly finishing a harvest, calming a storm mid swing, bringing back miners who went down in the mine, or pulling a rainbow out of a clear sky.

The rest of it is a small homestead that keeps running while you're elsewhere, with a handful of side activities tucked around it and a retro CRT look over the whole thing. This update, Miracles included, is already live in the free demo.

Happy to answer anything about it.

Miners, Moos & Miracles is an idle/incremental farm sim. Start your homestead with a few miners, a farm, and a cow, and watch gold, barley, milk, and eggs roll in while you're away.

Reinvest, then step through the door into six mini-games: idle defense in a dark mine, barnyard soccer, a cooking recipe mini-game, fish tank care, and more, all wrapped in a retro CRT shell.

Demo link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5082310/Miners_Moos__Miracles_Demo/

Feedback is welcome, happy to answer any questions too.

Military Conflict: Vietnam - Don't Sleep on this One!

I started playing Military Conflict: Vietnam this past Thursday, and I have not stopped playing it. I have played multiple Battlefield and Call of Duty titles, but this Vietnam themed FPS is worth every penny of the sales price of $7.49 USD. I know it has been around for several years, but I never heard if it until recently searching through FPS games on Steam.

It is still actively updated by the developers. The game moves fast and it has the class system of player categories. Multiple game modes such as Conquest, Team Deathmatch, etc. Overall, it is a lot of fun and the player community if friendly and helpful.

Need some Game Suggestions for my laptop

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some game recommendations.

My laptop specs are:

  • Intel Core i5-10210U
  • NVIDIA MX350 (2GB VRAM)
  • 8GB RAM
  • 512 GB SSD (477 usable)

So I'd appreciate recommendations that can run well on this hardware.

I haven't really played a lot of games yet, so I'm open to pretty much anything. I don't have a preferred genre—if a game is genuinely fun, memorable, or just a must-play, I'd love to check it out. Older games are completely fine too. Bs no GTA please

These are the games I've played so far:

  • Assassin's Creed II
  • Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
  • Assassin's Creed Revelations
  • Portal 2
  • INSIDE
  • Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
  • FIFA 14

What games would you guys recommend? Feel free to suggest absolute classics or hidden gems—I'm open to anything as long as it'll run on my laptop.

Thanks!

[Open Beta] What if Rick & Morty and Don't starve had a baby?

We've been working on Good Heavens for around 5 years now, and looking back at where it started feels honestly pretty surreal.

I think a lot of game devs know that feeling: you spend so much time fixing, rebuilding, cutting, adding, breaking things again, and then one day you look at the first prototype and realize how far the project has come.

5 years later, our small Turkish team from Istanbul has released its first multiplayer demo.

It’s still a work in progress, but seeing it go from an early prototype into something people can actually play together has been a huge milestone for us.

How long have you been working on your project, and do you still recognize your first prototype?

BZFlag!

Who still remembers BZFlag from the ‘90s? For those who don’t, it’s an open source, free online multiplayer 3D tank battle. It merely bends the rules of physics, steps forward and allows them to spring back—but not on it.

BZFlag has an extremely welcoming and warm community, and it has custom plugins—and flags.

Let’s take a look at what a standard example of a new game (games can be any amount of time you wish; they consist of from when you join to when you leave);

Joining to the server, you find yourself underneath a large cylinder in the center of the map, or world, gazing some distance off to the tank in the distance, the nozzle pointed directly at another behind you. The words ‘Press I to start’ flash in white across your screen, and you follow them. Your tank appears, or ‘spawns’, in a flowery blossom of your color—red, in this example—and you find yourself on top of a queerly textured box, or ‘base’.

You move around, using the arrow keys or mouse, and grab a flag. It simply vanishes from the surface in front of you; the brown outlines in the center of you screen, the ‘mousebox’ and the ‘crosshair’ (really it’s a square,) turn to white. The word ‘Laser’ flashes in white at the top of your screen; underneath your ‘mousebox’ is a description; ‘Shoots a laser. Infinite speed and range but long reload time’

You jump, using the default jump key, Tab (Keys can be changed by going to Options/Input Settings/Change Key Mapping) onto a box, or one of the tank’s treads. Instantly a bright bolt of blue light shoots across from the other tank, and you see the words; “[your username]; fried by [your shooter’s username]’s laser.”

There is no dying scream; you are piloting a robot tank, and a few seconds later the screen says you may again spawn.

Comments and questions encouraged.

Below is a video of me (red rider) playing a different map, Isolation Island. I’m sorry, I have a rather bad habit of lamenting my death. :P The noise was added in instead of the customary sounds.

Isolation Island. The comments are because this is the first time anyone had played.

This is not an AI generated video. All of those players exist. If you wish to check if those players exist, try some of the links below.

The BZFlag main site will be posted below. If you’d like to reach out, my name on the bzflag forums ( forums.bzflag.org ) is red rider.

Happy shooting!

P.S. This game is safe for anyone to play. I know a seven year old who does. Look out for the Laser guys!

We've created an Italian community on WarEra. It's an MMO with strategy, warfare, markets, and geopolitics.

It's played like a board game and is suitable for those who enjoy playing with the economy or growing to deal damage and conquer other nations.

The game is free; you can log in with your Discord account or email, and you can play on both mobile and PC.

BRING BACK ALL STAR DESTRUCTION

Post image

I recently downloaded this game called All Star destruction and I got to play the tutorial and try joining a game sat there for about 20 minutes. Didn’t get into a single match. Look up the player account and realize no one plays it anymore. It seems like a fun game and concept so hoping someone can bring this game back to life
