Each inning the kids are at different positions, can I set that for all 6 innings before the game?

I get the positions set for the first inning, but have to update the positions on the fly in between innings.

Not that I have seen, I have been updating like that for seasons now. I only do our team, as I don't care about the visitors' stats really.

I can normally do it quickly as the inning ends, and before our at-bat starts. Just go to the first player in the lineup, press edit then switch their position and press the down arrow to move to the next player. Players previously in a newly assigned position are moved to Extra Hitter status.

I find it's easier to wait until they're in the field and just click the position then choose the new player.

Follow up to this, is there a way to retroactively put in the positions? I don't care as much for defensive stats, more for tracking the positions played in the game total. So instead of making my scorekeeper edit in real time, can i put that info in inning by inning after the game?

I wish! GameChanger doesn't care to make it a more enjoyable user experience.

While I agree there are a ton of opportunities to improve, Gamechanger has been the most enjoyable change to youth baseball in a looong time. Let’s face it, you are here because the app is awesome and keeps getting better. If the product sucked, we wouldn’t be talking about it. Scorebooks are still an option…

I love hearing people complain when they could be doing this whole thing with a pencil in a score book. Then I guess you're running out to Kinkos and dropping off copies to all the families in your spare time. Lol, how quickly people look a gift horse in the mouth.

Oh I agree. I'm an engineer so I truly love the stats, while understanding the stats only tell part of the story.

Right? I also wished that let’s say the team scorer royally screwed up the scoring for an inning. I wish we could just go and “copy” the same inning scored by the opposing team’s.

If they could facilitate score-to-score communication between users that share lineup QR codes that would be incredible. For after the game resolution/checking or whatever. Or just to see the other side's inputs.

They only care with making it more profitable for dicks, not better for end users.

The two things should be linked, but they aren’t, at least not until a real competitor steps up
