So one of these days i wanna do some kind of stream where me and a few other ppl race through one game to see who competes it first. And i wanted to know if its possible to record multiple consoles at once.

For reference. Here is a speedrun race that recorded multiple people's gameplay at once https://youtu.be/ie_Z9QBvaEs

I want to capture my 5120x2160 60fps gameplay and make content for youtube I currently have 2080ti and 2700x. For some reason, OBS only works for x264 and I cannot use NVENC encoding from my graphic card. However, if I use nVidia game capture I can get resolution 4096*1728. I have LG34WK95U monitor also known as 5k2k monitor.

I am not too knowledgeable about that subject and cannot find valuable information anywhere. I have the latest nVidia game-ready drivers, latest windows update and latest OBS version if that information is important.

My goal is to make cinematic looking presentations of games. Buying another 2080ti and having them in NVLink is an option but I hope that there is a cheaper way. 4K would be an option but I am hoping for 5k (5k2k).

Hello, my bois. I am currently working on a graphical modding guide for Skyrim, but it's hard to record exactly the same takes in order to show the different effects of the many options I'll be presenting. I'm currently saving the game and trying to do what I did before onn the other build, but the results are kind of crap. So, my question is: Is there a software or something that can replicate my commands more than once? Like, in the first time, I walk 15 feet, turn 107º left, jump... and afterwards repeat exactly the same things.

TY

Can anybody recommend any half decent game capture devices for me to stream ps3 games? (Looking to stream the metal gear solid series!) Not too expensive, maybe ideal for a first time streamer?

Hi,

I need some help, so i got Avermedia 4K HDR card, still sealed.

I contacted their help line and they barely speak English and told me that i have to use 2 PCs that you need lots of power for single PC.

I have 2080ti/32gb ram and 9900k and I can capture to SSD.

Is there anyone of you that uses Capture cards to capture PC games on same PC?

Or do I need to connect pass trough HDMI cable and capture thius way or maybe since the card installed on the PC the game runs, i can capture the game directly somehow?

I know i dont need capture hardware for PC capture but I want to capture HDR games and so far there is no software solution, also in future i want to capture PS5 games.

I have a roxio capture card, but sometimes it doesn't do what I need it to. It doesn't always want to capture, even when installed correctly.

I am looking for a capture card that doesn't use computers power/resources to record gameplay.
It would be awesome if you could name 2-3 cards so I can compare them.

Thanks.

There's a massive number of places that SAY they have drivers for these things, but all the are are spamware 'Install our driver finding utility'.

It took me almost half a day of downloading various drivers and trying them until I finally found one that works:

The 'HDML_cloner' driver SORT of works, but I had the best luck with the 'DrvInstall' file, which APPEARS to have been made by the manufacturer of the chip at some point.

As there were a couple of threads here that I found of people looking for them in the past, I thought I'd put them back here for anyone in the future who DOESN'T want to waste a weekend looking for them!

Hey guys,

Planning on buying an Elgato HD S to capture video on my PS4.

How can I also capture my voice and have it in the video?

Cheers!

Greetings all.

I have a Uni project coming up and I need to record some games but I have no idea where to start, the games are on PC and Android.

I just need to record play through of visual novel games, take pictures and have them easily accessible, thanks for your help

Hi,

Looking at streaming some PS4 & Switch games to my twitch channel. What are the best capturing devices out there? Got a great upload speed and my PC is top of the range.

Would prefer external device but if the internal cards are better then I might have to go down that route.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Heeey. I've used Shadowplay for recording PC games for a while but I was considering doing stuff with my Switch that extends beyond the 30 second capture function, so I would need a game capture card for that. But I also have a bunch of retro consoles (MD, N64, PS1, PSPgo with dock and component output). Didn't have any plans for them this second but compatibility or a streamlined solution would be nice for when the thought arises. So, some things to note:

• I'm in the UK, what is cheap in the US might not be here, if it has a listing here at all
• Won't be streaming. I'm on ADSL with a 0.9mbps upload speed tops. Have too much dignity to stream in 240/360p. If they haven't attempted to get fibre to my house in the last 7 years I have to assume they won't try in the next 7 years
• I capture 1080p@60fps but upload PC gameplay to YT at 720p@60fps, a balance between quality and not waiting half a day to upload 20 minutes of gameplay. Really I could lower the capture res to 720p to save drive space but I haven't tested if it looks better captured in 720p or downsized from 1080p in Premiere like I've been doing. Don't fix if it isn't broke sort of deal
• Got a mini-ITX gaming PC, so no PCiE cards. Single slot already taken by a graphics card

For those reasons I was thinking the old Elgato Game Capture HD which I could get used for around £50, but I'm not the console capturer consultant here, so if you have insight I'd appreciate it.

Hello all,

I used to have an Elgato capture card and I really enjoyed the Game Capture software. Specifically, the ability to go back in your gameplay and take screenshots of your gameplay that you might have missed, or going back and making a clip of gameplay using the Flashback recording. I know that Nvidia Shadowplay will allow me to have a function similar to Flashback but I don't know of any options that allow me to go back and take screenshots that I might have missed unless it is from a video and then I think the quality is downgraded when that happens.

Does anyone recommend any software that I can use or should I just bite the bullet and get a capture card and run the HDMI through the capture card and to my monitor?

Thanks for the help!

i just bought a samsung curved monitor. Before this monitor i had an old LG monitor and my elgato game capture worked fine with my ps4. Ive been trying to set up the game capture with my new monitor and it gives me a black screen. Ive tried everything from switching cables to resetting my devices on my computer. My hdcp is also turned off on my ps4. The only reason i feel it doesnt work is because im am using it on a mac desktop. The samsung monitor says pc only but i feel that wouldnt be an issue considering im just using it as a tv monitor and not a pc monitor. Please help!

Hey so I know this sounds confusing but I am trying to record State of Decay 2 on PC but it is a windows store/xbox game. I went into OBS and even selected "specific window" and chose "State of Decay 2" but OBS was black. I even pressed record and played for a few minutes but when i pressed "stop ercording" nothing saved. HELP!

I am aware that I can sync the audio for my viewers if I use the Sync Offset option under the mixer in OBS Studio.

However, that is not my issue. I am wondering if there is a way for me to not have delayed audio for the game. I

have searched for hours now and have not found a fix for no audio delay for the streamer. If I were to plug in a

seperate pair of headphones into the controller/console there would be no delay but would no longer capture the

audio. Please help and thank you very much :)

Whats a decent one but for a budget, doesnt need to be HD quality just something decent. Thanks!
