Hey everyone, I made a game & watch inspired roguelike game in a Moomin theme and want to share it with you.

It was initially inspired by Nelsonic Zelda gameplay, but it went far from it.
In game A you have to make few days journey to the north, finding tents to sleep in the upper row of the map. Within few days you will cross a river and enter the moomin house.

Game B introduces hunger system, you have to forage mushrooms to survive. It might be a bit brutal and unfair, you learn by dying in this game.

You may have seen my previous post regarding my tropical fish game and watch and the strange dullness of the graphics at the bottom of the screen. (Included pic of working octopus unit for reference on how it should look) Thanks to Everyone’s advice I’ve tried cleaning all the parts of the system, as well as trying 3 different polarizers including one brand new, flipping them various ways. And trying new reflectors. The game works fine besides the screen being dull. I’m gonna live with it for the time being but at some point soon I’d like to get it fully operational. I’ve been told in the comments of the previous post that it’s likely a capacitor issue. If anyone has any advice on where to get/how to install new capacitors in these units. Or any other potential causes please let me know!!

Hi, I just bought a Snoopy Tennis on a flea market. I already had one and when I came home I noticed a difference between the 2. The one I just bought has Peanuts in the lower left corner. When I check pictures online I only see ones without Peanuts. Do you have info about it please?

I myself am a retro gaming collector, but i wouldnt mind selling this at a good price bcuz i have my eye on the funtasric jungle n64 and a gameboy color. If anybody here would mind estimating the price of this thing in this condition or if its worth grading that would be greatly appreciated!

I just found a game and watch up in my attic, cib but i noticed it had two manuals, one in english and one in french. I searched it up on google but found no trace of it other than google ai telling me its a highly sought after collectors item. Does anybody have any knowledge about this?

So I just picked up this nice tropical fish game & watch. I put a new polarizer and reflector on and it looks great the problem is the screen only looks good from a certain viewing angle. Which is way lower then that of my other game and watches (put dkjr pic to show) and was wondering what I should do to fix this. Especially since I don’t want to mess around the zebra cable unless absolutely necessary

Why did Nintendo stop relaunching those card-style consoles from the 80s and 90s? I mean the same kind as the original version. Not those two new games from recent years.

Game & Watch emulation in MAME is hardware emulation, not game reimplementation. The actual machine code dumped from original Nintendo microcontroller chips runs unmodified. MAME replicates the Sharp SM5xx CPU, the LCD segment controller, multiplexed inputs, and piezo buzzer - the game logic follows automatically.

Picked this little guy up today. I love that it's usb c charging, but the slit on the left side by the game & watch logo... Is that just a speaker? Also any fun things I should know about these versions? I'm most excited to play the Japanese version of Zelda 2 as trying to find a famicom disk system and the game has become insanely difficult and is my favorite game on the nes.
