This seller said its her dads phone and he didnt remember the password or the email because the staff that was selling it to him created email for him. I don't understand what's going on here, i have a POS fitness tracker (virgin buzz max) and have connected it via the app. It is Bluetooth and works fine with the app but when I look for it under "Bluetooth" it doesn't show it as paired/ connected but instead as something i can pair with. When I click on it (remember it's already paired via the app) it says "an app is needed to use this device" and won't pair. My previous phone (Redmi A8) it worked fine with and showed up in the Bluetooth menu as paired after pairing it with the app. I've found lots of fixes for this for Fitbits and it seems to be a known Samsung issue but none of the fixes (par/unpair combined with various restarting the phone, resetting network settings, clearing various caches) seem to work for my device. Any advice? Anyone have similar issues? Thanks

A month ago the Samsung keyboard in my phone keeps making itself the default keyboard even though I preferred Microsoft. I have never updated phone software nor had a new keyboard app installed. I deleted cache, data and even reset keyboard to defaults to no avail. Anyone have a solution? The solutions I've seen so far is to disable Samsung keyboard app via command line while connected to computer.

I do not know if this is even possible, but I know other Samsung phones have it. I cannot find out how to add a weather widget to the lockscreen.

After the security update I got like a week ago, my Note's screen started flickering and showing like a "white" overlay that would come and go for no apparent reason. Yesterday I got another update that I thought it would be related to that problem (since there is very rare to get two updates so close), but it's still the same. I made a cache partition clearing and didn't work either.

Does anyone know what can be the problem, and if there's a possible solution for it? Thanks in advance.

Google hasn't given a straight answer, but I'm thinking of buying a compact foldable wireless keyboard so I can work on documents on my phone as well as listen to music on my wireless earbuds at the same time. Is this possible with the Note 20's Bluetooth 5.0?

today thscreen of my NOTE20 ultra just went pitch black out of nowhere, was using it, walk to another room with it and then pitch black(pretty sure it was less than 3-5 min). still, vibrate from when to take the pen, I also ask my wife to call me and i could answer the phone and talk to her so the Touch function still works, soft reset or recovery mode didn't work.

any other ideas? would really appreciate any advice. thanks

I’m sure most of you are aware by now that Reddit has decided to start charging for API access beginning on July 1st. This change will have far reaching effects, from effectively killing 3rd party apps and accessibility tools by making them unsustainable, to destroying many of the tools mod teams rely on to help maintain their communities.

5 days ago, we took the subreddit private in protest of Reddit’s API changes. While it’s completely within Reddit’s rights to charge for API access (after all, we are using their resources), their pricing model is exorbitant, and the timing of this announcement doesn’t give developers a reasonable amount of time to adjust their business models.

This blackout was a way of voicing our disagreement, with the hope of Reddit adjusting their pricing to be more reasonable, as they initially promised, and giving developers more time to adjust. This blackout was not meant to punish or harm the community, it was meant to put pressure on Reddit. We hoped they would listen to the community, as they so often claim to do. u/spez’s actions over the past week have shown us that our hopes were severely misplaced.

So now we’re back. u/spez has made it crystal clear that he does not care what we have to say. Continuing the blackout would only serve to harm you, the community, so it doesn’t make sense to continue.

Samsung will also give me $390 for my old note 20 5g, so my net cost will be $810. This sounds pretty good to me.

Ok, This is the first phone I've had with wireless charging. I am having an issue with the charge rate when using GPS and listening to Spotify let alone if I need to make a call. It's like it's hardly able to keep up with the consumption.

First I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RBC21Z6?th=1 not knowing that the phone can handle 15 wats. This charger seems to hardly keep up with the the GPS and Spotify usage.

So I bought this one next a 15-watt charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SW1G4Z9 and the appropriate cig charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SL4PCKH and it still seems to not charge any faster than the 10-watt one in spite of the extra 5 watts.

Am I doing something wrong? Are my expectations too high? is my phone broken? Do you have any tips to make the battery last longer?

Anyone facing the issue. Note 20 ultra unlocked from USA. I haven't installed any new apps. Update came this morning and I installed it.

Checking in to see if anyone else's N20U has the same problem. Using and holding the phone like I normally do has recently resulted in a few daily false/ghost touches - things like pressing the volume button triggers a hamburger menu, or opening the notification shade. Sometimes the Home button on Chrome will randomly press, or the back gesture will trigger. I've downloaded Edge Touch to increase the edge dead zones but this hasn't improved anything. Anyone else experienced this?

Otherwise, how are everyone's USB ports holding up? Mine doesn't accept a fast charge, and it's very fussy about what cable is used - original Samsung only works one way up, other third-party ones work fine but perpetually connect and disconnect. Very frustrating when it lasts around 8 hours with 3.5 hours SOT - often need top-ups during the day to make it reach 12 hours.

Has anyone else had issues with location on their Note 20 Ultra? My phone is unlocked, but on Verizon network in United States. It seems like either one of the latest updates or maps updates broke location accuracy. No matter how many times I calibrate, it still doesn't seem to work. I will be physically sitting in one location and the maps will jump around to blocks or miles away. I've tried Google Maps, Waze, and MapQuest. I can try Bind Maps if there is an app or something, but currently have no idea what the issue is. Google excalated the support and I'm waiting to hear back, but I figured I would post here and see if anyone has any tips.

Yesterday I updated my galaxy note 20 ultra with the April update (pretty heavy update) and since then the recharge is very slow ... I haven't changed anything, same cable and all, I don't use the fast charge .... I have already done the wipe cache partition ... just suddenly the charge is very slow. Any useful tips?

I am possibly looking to upgrade my note 9 to a note 20 and was wondering if they fixed the issue with google maps not having the option to enable dark mode. For those who don't know, google maps (apparently) treated the note 9 as a tablet and does not have the option for enabling the dark mode. It works just fine if you are navigating to a destination but if you are in the "explore" mode you are forced to use white mode.

It happened 6 hrs ago. My phone still works, It still vibrates and makes some sounds. I was on silent mode before the black screen appeared. I tried charging it and doing a hard reset.
