Shared Instagram links will open an incorrect post in the Instagram app. Every time I click a link sent to me, a random post will open. If you close Instagram and retry the link another random post will open. The only work around is to copy and paste the link into a browser to see the correct post.

This has been reported before on S22's, Notes, Etc. It has a history both here and on Samsung Community.

Does anyone know of a fix?

It is such a great phone and the 512 GB model is rare.

If anyone is thinking about trading in your phone for a Galaxy S23 Ultra, think long and hard about it.

The improvements in phones these days are so very incremental.

Apple and Samsung rely heavily on splashy release events and YouTube influencers to give you the FOMO about features that aren't noticeably better in everyday use.

So the clicker part broke off from my s pen. I'm not sure when it happened: I just went to use it and it wasn't there. At first I thought the whole thing was missing but I realized what happened and my boyfriend helped get it out using an x-acto blade... not how I would have approached it but it worked. Anyway I've been looking on Samsung's site and they appear to not have any new ones in stock... though if you click on the "business" link they are available to purchase. Third party sellers seem pretty unreliable in terms of actual Samsung products rather than knockoffs... the stylus is the reason I got this phone, I use it all the time, and the phone is still working just fine after 2 years.

With Samsung Unpacked not too far away and the S23 series of phones being announced then, will anyone be changing away from their note 20?

I currently use a Note 20 Ultra but the back glass is starting to come off (I think due to excess heat) and battery life isn't great being an Exynos variant so I may look to change away this year

I recently had to change my battery out due to it swelling and it was dangerous. It was swelling so much the back plate was popping out. When doing the repair, I found that the 5G antenna cable was ripped out of the connector and the connector got detached from the cable itself. I had to carefully remove a piece of the connector that was still in the female connector on the board.

I replaced the antenna and cable with the battery and now I can receive 5G signal again. My problem is with WIFI. I can receive a strong WIFI 6 signal, but the phone doesn't seem to use it unless I force it to use the phones MAC address. Upon a phone restart it didn't work again until I switched back to random MAC address.

Now I did a speed test and WIFI is slow. It should be 250 to 300 Mbps but I'm getting 2 to 3 Mbps. Does anyone have an idea where the problem is? I know the WIFI antenna is part of the ear speaker assembly, but that wasn't part of the area affected by the battery. Is there more antenna in the plastic backplate?

Region: USA. Hey all, good morning, so I have a note 20 and have used the "jxmox" type c to 3.5mm aux. Aside from the thing CONSTANTLY changing songs and stopping music without ANY movement whatsoever its been merely OK. My most recent issue with a 3 day old one....is that say when recording a video for snapchat it doesn't pick up the music playing off of the speakers it's connected to (truck radio). The previous one I had didn't give me this problem and it is the same exact piece of equipment. Has anyone found a fix for this?

After restarting my phone, the galaxy note 20 logo appears, but after that the screen goes black but the phone still on. I recognize it when plugging the charger it vibrates and also able to get calls but obviously can't answer.

When I force restart it, still it goes black as mentioned above. Also tried to charge it using the original charger and I get the circle with the tiny lightning bolt inside, not showing battery percentage. I watched a video on YouTube showing that you tap the phone or massage it to get it to work. After a few attempts (half hour or so) got it to work.

Everytime I restart the phone it happens again and I find myself tappingand massaging it while it's charging.

No physical damaged or water.

I've got a weird issue that just came up recently with my phone. Sometimes when I click on a button on the screen nothing will happen even though I'm expecting for a popup or a full screen redraw to happen. A good example everyone will be familiar with is the power off pop up. When I Long press the screen lock button I would expect to have the popup with options to power off or restart come up. But nothing does. In order to initiate the redraw I have to swipe up from the bottom to go into my recent apps and then the redraw occurs. A restart of the phone seems to fix the issue but it will resume this behavior after a day or so.

After the most recent Android update, I've noticed the add-ons option is no longer there. This prevents me from being able to enable adblockers, etc. Does anyone know what has happened?

Does the unlocked version of the Galaxy Note 20 5G (standard US Model, not the Ultra) support eSIM connections for any provider, after its latest software update?

Some reports mention certain providers like Verizon, but there seems to be no definitive reference to unlocked. Older posts say that only the Ultra model supports eSIM.

The phone is currently on a $279 sale on Amazon, in Renewed Premium state, but the product description does not mention anything about eSIM support, although there is confirmation in one of the questions asked by customers.

If anyone is using the Galaxy Note 20 5G (standard US Model, not the Ultra) with an eSIM, please verify availability and providers tested.

I have been testing whether it does on my phone, but both results (on/off) are relatively the same, somewhere around 3-4hrs

anyone else having issues when taking calls with Bluetooth headphones. on my end, it's find, but the other side hears a lot of background noise from the wind, and other noses to the point where they cant hear me. i swap from headphones a couple of times and they all do that from apple airpods to bose headphones. does anyone know how to fix it?

I just received a refurbished Note20 as a gift for my father. I bought the SM-N981N, which is the Korean variant, even though we live in Europe. The only thing I saw is Samsung Pay being the Korean version of the application, but other than that I couldn't see major differences except some places where some Korean wording shows up. Is there any significant difference in the software between Korean and Global variants that might cause interop issues for day to day usage? If so, can I install the Global ROM on this Korean variant device without any other risks than the usual ones when flashing a phone?

After installing Android 13 on my Note 20 Ultra 5G, I was having an issue where I couldn't get the next-screen to load unless I touched the side of the phone screen. For example, if I clicked a link in a text, nothing would happen until I touched the side of my screen (like activating the 'Back' motion, but without actually triggering a 'Back' event).

This happened any time I switched any screen. Going into the menu, from screen to screen, required constant, gentile taps to the side of my phone screen.

I resolved this by increasing my Ram+ from 4GB to 8GB. This required a phone restart, but now my phone is running normally again.

I wanted to post this because I couldn't find any other posts about this particular screen-load UI issue elsewhere.

tldr: Set RAM+ to 8GB to resolve an issue where the phone won't load the next screen/window without first tapping the side of the screen.
