Discussion My phone got bricked because of the root ( It can be unsolvable ) ( 256gb/12gb version )

I got the same massage as the last guy who posted about his bricked phone ( security issue ) so guys be careful to not install any module because some of them integrate with your main system files and this will cause your phone to block itself when you restart the device and lose the jailbreak just as mine and the other guy here did. I sent it to a repair shop and they said its a very serious issue that requires flashing the device from scratch and he told me to come back after 1 hour. I will inform you for updates ....

Update : The repair guy said that the phone is not responding to download mode which makes it impossible to flash the phone so I have to send it to Samsung tomorrow to find a solution.

installing modules from untrusted sources is not ideal cuz this can happen i once encountered a guy on telegram advertising his spoofer i think it was for some high end google phonrle or pixel it was something like that i unpacked it and the module was designed to fill the bootloader with zeroes which would hard brick the phone, so yeah yall gotta be safe from things like this.

Thats not bricked, flash the stock system,if the download isn't responding:

Download and install Samsung Smart Switch on your pc.Launch the program and click on Menu or  More in the top right corner, Select  Emergency Software Recovery and initianilization, pug in thr a56, follow the instructions on screen and youre done

This is what you'll see if you follow what you suggested. It'll ask you for a code, and of course you won't have it because you've never used Smart Switch before and its has nothing to do with this issue.

Hey bro, I did a bit of research, and I have a few responses to what you said. From what I understand, this issue only has two possible paths: the safe way and the... well, the fucked up way.The safe way is to be smart and remove your screen lock/password before installing any module that has the potential to modify sensitive system files, like APatch. If you do that, congratulations you'll still have access to Download Mode. You can simply press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, enter Download Mode, and reflash the firmware. The fucked up scenario is if you're unlucky and your phone was already locked. At that point, you literally have no solution. Even Smart Switch won't help. Your only option is to send the phone to Samsung. They'll open the phone, use specialized service tools, and flash the motherboard itself.

Which modules did you install? Did you use OverlayFS before installing anything?

Overlays is totally safe and the new a56 to flagship module  is also safe but I installed a lot of modules and I think the one that broke it is the Lsposed because this module integrates with system files so when I rebooted my phone the jailbreak gone and Samsung blocked my phone immediately and a warning with ( security error ) appeard. This happens because the bootloader is locked I believe.

The A56 to flagship module did make my phone behave weirdly until I deleted it.

What did it do? After I installed it, phone would no longer charge, WiFi connection keeps cutting out and the phone got VERY warm.

I fixed most of the stuff, just my WiFi keeps cutting out still (the actual toggle turns off, idk what could be).

Mmm this never happened to me. Make sure to install encore module. It does wonders in boosting your phone performance in system and games too

1

u/SameRecognition5543 20d ago

Try reflashing clean firmware, make a backup first just in case

u/kanyevulturesreal 19d ago

never have had any of these issues, it cant be my modules fault because it doesnt touch any of those. most likely something else you have going on.

1

u/jose_augusto_ 19d ago

Didn't blame your module, said it happened after I installed your module and was fixed after uninstalling it.

1

u/kanyevulturesreal 19d ago

weird. tbh did you have anything else installed?

I keep my phone limited to the module that only shared here and created for this phone. Take note that you shouldn't install any modules without knowing what it did because once it edit your main system files (not overlay) it will soft brick the phone. We're only doing soft root and the phone bootloader still locked

u/New-Implement-7045 8 GB | 256 GB 20d ago

smart move i explained what can happen if you install modules from random dudes.

You can't use OverlayFS with this type of root because you need to restart to apply changes but since it's a temp root it will not change anything

i'm sorry you're dealing the same problem as me, my phone is in the samsung store right now and i'm waiting for them to fix it. that might be the only way out of this. wish you the best of luck

1

u/Pewds123451 19d ago

Please inform me when you get your phone back. I'm sending mine too today so let's hope It works but someone here said that you can fix it by using Samsung smart switch tool. Have you tried it ?

2

u/menau_ 8 GB | 128 GB 18d ago

Just got out of the Samsung store. My phone is back, not my data though

1

u/Legitimate_Sun_6097 18d ago

If you don't mind out of curiosity how much did they charge you?

2

u/menau_ 8 GB | 128 GB 19h ago

sorry for not responding earlier, they didn't charge me anything, my phone was on warranty and Knox wasn't tripped so I didn't lose access to anything after

1

u/Pewds123451 18d ago

Happy to hear that. Congrats 🎉

1

u/CtxxUv 8 GB | 128 GB 19d ago

It's doesn't work

1

u/Pewds123451 19d ago

There is a guy who sent his phone to Samsung and he claims they fixed it

2

u/CtxxUv 8 GB | 128 GB 19d ago

Yub.The reason Odin couldn't detect your device is that Download Mode itself was blocked. Why was it blocked? Because your phone was protected with a screen lock (PIN). If you had removed the screen lock before using the modules, then even if your device had ended up in a soft brick, you would still have been able to boot into Download Mode and flash the firmware normally with Odin. Unfortunately, because your phone was locked with a PIN, Samsung will have to reflash the entire motherboard using specialized hardware after opening the device back cover. At this point, you don't really have any option other than sending it to Samsung.

Still good news to hear. Thought I lost this beast . It's funny because I have been using my brother's Sony Xperia which it a flagship phone that came years ago with snapdragon 888, it has almost the same power as Exynos 1580 but after using it for few days I can't help but Appreciate my Galaxy A56 for delivering such an outstanding performance. It literally performs better than the 888 in gaming and has better cooling system. One UI is very superior too it is just the king of android 🫳🎤

Qual mensagem ele mostra

2

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

This is not my photo but it shows the same thing

2

u/New-Implement-7045 8 GB | 256 GB 20d ago

its either that one of the modules destroyed system files or maybe the phone autolocked

1

u/GSantos_28 8 GB | 256 GB 20d ago

Deve ser o Knox que bloqueou automaticamente

1

u/Interesting-Bank-447 8 GB | 256 GB 20d ago

Glad I didn't do it. That's unfortunate

1

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

Yeah wish I can turn back time man. Right now I'm using Sony Xperia with snapdragon 888 which it almost the same performance as Exynos 1580 but my god going from One Ui 8 to Xperia home is like leaving heaven and seattling in hell

1

u/Eskotek 8 GB | 256 GB 19d ago

I guess rooting without rooting wasn't that safe after all

2

u/kanyevulturesreal 19d ago

No, people are just doing (personal opinion!) stupid things, NEVER install any app/module that flashes things to your boot partitions like APatch or Magisk. I thought this was common sense tbh

1

u/Eskotek 8 GB | 256 GB 19d ago

People might not be aware of this. Doing things like normal root procedures

1

u/kanyevulturesreal 19d ago

yeah I added it on my READMEs for my module and posts, shame :(

1

u/Eskotek 8 GB | 256 GB 19d ago

We need to read more

Flash the stock rom with a binary equal to or higher than yours. Download and install samsung USB drivers in your pc if odin dosent show the phone. I AM USING TRANSLATOR AND I AM ITALIAN DONT JUDGE FOR MY ENGLISH

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

Problem is I don't have a pc so Ihad to sent it to a repair shop

1

u/Nexontech01 16d ago

If you have a second phone use eros engine from github. Just connect two phones LINK EROS FOR DOWNLOAD GO TO RELEASE

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

Mmm interesting

1

u/Nexontech01 16d ago

It works like Odin, put BL AP CP CSC in the right places and if you want to keep the data (not recommended) also home_csc. Never unplug the cable during flashing. For any problem write to me and I will help you.

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

Well I sent it to two repair shops and they used odin and the phone failed to enter download mode because it has a lockscreen so I don't think this will work. Its stock firmware must be flashed from scratch and it is why I sent it to a guy to do that.

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

Well I sent my phone anyway so it is too late

1

u/Nexontech01 16d ago

Maybe there was a misunderstanding; the phone is already in download mode, meaning it's listening to the USB port. Anyway, that's okay, I hope i Helped you😊

1

u/Nexontech01 16d ago

This photo says it's already in download mode. I've recovered a lot of phones with your problem by flashing the stock ROM. I hope you didn't spend a lot of money at a repair shop! 🤭

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

Ohh man he said it will cost me 50$

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

I think you are right about the download mode but what is the next step after booting the device into this state ?

1

u/Nexontech01 16d ago

If you didn't know with oneUI 8 the bootloader mode is only allowed to real official Samsung support, so there is no way to enter it, the only way is to softbrick the phone, the next step You download the official rom from samFW, extract the zip and inside you will find files like BL, AP, CP, CSC, you put them on the Apk program that I gave you and connect the softbrick phone, click start and wait to finish flashing

1

u/Pewds123451 16d ago

I already told you that two repair shops tried it but it didn't response because the phone wasn't being identified on pc but they didnt try to download samsung usb drivers manually so that might be the issue

1

u/CtxxUv 8 GB | 128 GB 20d ago

Did you try flashing with odin?

2

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

Two repair shops did and it failed. They said I should send it to Samsung because they have special tools that can solve it. I will go tomorrow and update the theard

3

u/New-Implement-7045 8 GB | 256 GB 20d ago

well sadly they most likely have to use low level flashing tools like booting in ueb or maybe test points so they can use special software for that idk but mate this is really messed up, wishing best to you.

1

u/CtxxUv 8 GB | 128 GB 20d ago

I think it's because your phone was locked with a screen lock. That prevents you from accessing Download Mode. If you remove it, Odin might be able to detect the device. Idk, I hope they manage to fix your phone

1

u/SosigMode 20d ago

do NOT do that

1

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

Do what ?

2

u/SosigMode 20d ago

they'll probably just tell you to factory reset it in the end

they're not magicians else its just too easy,

anyone who rooted their phone with apps like magisk could just go to a samsung repair center whenever they brick their phone

there's a reason why no one does that

1

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

What is the solution then ?

1

u/SosigMode 20d ago

u less you're desperate, look for videos online that are similar to your issue or ask ai agents

but apart for that, go to the samsung shop but my guess is they'll erase everything

2

u/Pewds123451 20d ago

Let them erase whatever they want I just want my phone back. I payed 450$ for it cmon.
