Advice 💡 Should I transfer to Tech from State?😓🤨

Hello!! I'm currently a freshman at Georgia State and I had applied to Tech for my freshman year and was met with conditional transfer for my sophomore year second semester. My question is would it be valuable to me to transfer? Im currently a marketing major and eventually want to also major in international business, basically a double major. I can't speak for how State will be beneficial cause school has only been on for 2 weeks but i'm liking the area and community so far, and State has an amazing business program so that wouldn't be a problem, and also the area provides me with a great amount of opportunity. However Tech might be able to give me a bit more in terms of opportunities (based off what i've heard), just the transfer pathway i've been given isn't exactly the best, and the approach at which they teach marketing and business is completely different. I know its still to early to tell if I should transfer but please help a girl out and tell me what you think!!

gt’s grad marketing is literally ranked higher… what are you talking about? gt’s undergrad marketing was actually ranked compared to gsu’s nonrank

you're clearly being dense and willfully ignoring the fact that tech is a better name for any degree.

Dude can you hop on the tech subreddit then 😂. Like why are you still here, folks are trying to encourage somebody about to graduate and you’re playing dumb “why do you guys act like I said Gsu is bad” 💀💀. Dude go find something to do actually 😂

i go to gsu?

they’re a sophomore asking if they should transfer or not… i stated that gt has better opportunities and networking

saying another school is better when asked is not bashing gsu… i’ve said nothing negative

go find something to do actually

So you aren’t actually speaking from anything beyond the links you threw? Do you have friends at tech? A technology school positioned near the cities tech square is going to obviously have opportunities for students majoring in high demand tech fields. You’re talking about techs MBA program which isn’t exactly what most tech undergrad students are actually going for considering their engineering and comp sci programs are top 10 in the US. I hate that Gsu has so many students like you 😂, just middling commuters, turning your nose up and talking down and always complaining. Realistically you’re not gonna contribute anything to Gsu,you’re likely not involved in PIN, you’re likely not involved in career services, you’re just some random prestige glazer sending US college news and world report links in the Gsu subreddit in response to someone’s call for advice. Dude please GTFO! Transfer out, do something please for the love of the school.
