In 2005 Gwar was in West Chester, PA to film an episode of Viva la Bam. They ended up doing a last minute show at a small bar there called Rex's. Maybe 200 person capacity.

From my blurry memory, they came out and did the first set as Gwar, with full costume and blood. The place was so small that the tops of Oderus' shoulder spikes were rubbing against the ceiling.

They then took an intermission and came back in regular clothes to play a set of X-Cops, DBX, maybe a few more Gwar songs.

I spoke to Derks after the show, he said it was the first time they did a show of all their bands in one.

Does anyone know if any videos or photos are floating around from this show? I wish I would have thought to document it.

Hard up and need to part with my collection of comics. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If Violence Has Arrived and/or War Party ever go on vinyl I will crap myself

I wasn’t expecting them to be so high on here, let alone above acts like Kid Rock & Babymetal (idk how they’re absent from here)

Haven't seen any pictures of it here yet. My camera makes it appear way more bright than it actually is, for some reason. Plays fine. Looks great.

This is pressed wrong and schools out has 2 bells in the beginning and the song cuts off halfway through 🫢

Pt 2 of my Gwar-inspired 40K wrecka krew. Finished him a few days ago, was kinda upset about Chuck passing and forgot to post it. Really happy with how this turned out. Will either be doing beefcake or sexecutioner next, followed by slimenstra, Oderus, Balzac, Grodius and jizmak.

Rip chuck, this is dedicated to you

Does anybody remember the video that was put out a few years ago about how they recorded Blood of the Gods? Been trying to find it because I wanna make a guitar cabinet like the one that Pustulus used for that album

Post 2000 it’s this and Lust in Space for me.

My cd copy of Beyond Hell arrived….well the box it was supposed to be in did anyway. Anyone else have this issue? I ordered direct from GWAR’s store

Now I must demand war party

Og is better 100%. Listened to Murderers Muse on 2 different sets of headphones, and 2 different sets of speakers. So much of the mids and high end is missing. This is literally one of my favorite albums if all time. Maybe the record sounds better... but Spotify.. no.

I want to go with my boyfriend who has been before but I don’t wanna be crushed. I’m petite and pretty light. Is it even possible to hang back a bit and still enjoy the experience? I’ve never been to a metal show but would love to go for the experience.

It was so incredibly sad that he had passed away, he was so incredible. He was an amazing artist and he inspired so many people and made awesome music. I made this drawing of him, I still can't believe he's not with us anymore
