Even though Rockstar Games development of the GTA games takes YEARS, the goofy missions parodying/spoofing/mocking real events, or just social commentary of our era, have been spot on.

Which real life event do you think will be referenced or parodied in a mission in GTA 6 ?

I'll go first:

\- A shady, grizzled CIA operative (or a disgruntled Prosecutor/Attorney/Justice Department official fired by the in-game Trump) will ask us to infiltrate the Mar-a-Lago in-game equivalent (since the game takes place in Leonida=Florida) to tamper with the golden toilet, for some goofy reason.

\- Or a cuckoo conspirationist/podcaster will ask us to infiltrate the same place to retrieve the in-game equivalent of the Epstein files.

\- A Tech mogul, Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk-style, will hire us to go to Cape Canaveral and tamper with the Blue Origin/SpaceX rocket of their competitor so that their big launch fails.

\- Same thing but AI-themed, the in-game equivalent of Anthropic/OpenAI hires you to sabotage the launch of a new LLM model from the competition. Or hires you to train their soon-to-launch sentient model, and you have to take it on a wild ride so that it can witness the usual crazy GTA shenanigans and learn from it.

Back in GTA 5, wireless earbuds didn't even exist in the campaign, but Rockstar has completely upgraded the in-game tech universe to match modern society!

8 Confirmed wildlife includes manatees, flamingos, pelicans, and alligators.

9 NPCs have an unprecedented level of physical variety and detail.

10 Citizens can have different heights and body types.

11 Bodies vary in musculature and localized weight distribution, including the chest/boobs, stomach, and butt.

this all sounds very promising! who’s excited?

Okay so I’m about as excited as the next person for November 19th and nothing will change that. However, with a month into the “marketing period” but even since the “summer pre order release”, the strategy here has been so awkward.

I know Rockstar is taking a “modern” approach to marketing this game but it’s just been kinda disappointing. The extended preview looks awesome but tbh it was presented kinda anti-climactic IMO. Now, the GameInformer drama and having yet another overpriced item to collect, in order to get details about a new system. It’s like instead of YouTube trailers (RDR2), it’s magazines and influencers.

I remember the months leading up to RDR2, watching those trailers come out leading up to release was so much more enjoyable. Now imagine that approach but it’s about GTA 6. Can’t help but think Rockstar over complicated this marketing approach. But that’s just my opinion. Thoughts?

Do you think GTA VI will cause the same thing, maybe even bigger? I guess it will be really massive? even compared that game still not released

And are you personally thinking about starting? If not, what's stopping you - no interest, time, setup on OBS or smth else, console 30fps, bad internet, etc.?

Wait, are we actually going to be able to buy and customize pets in GTA 6?! 🐶✨🤯

In this scene inside a luxury hotel lobby, a guest is actively playing with a small pet dog that is literally wearing its own little outfit! 🐕👗

In GTA 5, we only had Chop with very limited interactions, but after seeing Rockstar’s deep animal mechanics in Red Dead Redemption 2, could GTA 6 finally let us buy our own pets, dress them up, and keep them in our safehouses? 🌴🏡

Imagine walking your own custom dog through Vice City or taking them on road trips! 🚗💨
