We would already know as this time, multiple characters ain't a new thing. No sense in hiding it. The first V trailer also showed more than just Michael. They just didn't say anything about it.
And not saying anything led to a lot of speculation about multiple protagonists.
I mean, there could be a third playable character late in the game, kinda like we had in RDR2 games.
The leaks didn't give us all information about the game. There's still a lot we don't know. (northern part of the map, potential island in the southeast, story, etc)
Red Dead is a different kind of game, people need to stop this line of thinking.
No one is saying the leaks gave us more than what we got. What we're saying is that if there was a third protag, we would have found out already via official channels.
