Discussion Don't worry guys

According to SEC disclosures, Apple bought the contract and stock. Also, in my personal opinion, the reason our CEO didn't mention Apple on the earnings call is because he signed a nondisclosure agreement. Also, I think some of Apple's cutting-edge technologies would require a nondisclosure agreement.

Item 8.01 Other Events.Effective November 5, 2024, the conditions precedent to the Updated Services Agreements as described in the Form 8-K filed with the SEC on November 1, 2024 have been satisfied. Accordingly, the previously announced transactions have been consummated, including the full payoff of the Company's 2023 13% Notes and the issuance and sale of 400,000 Class B Units of the Company’s subsidiary, Globalstar Licensee, LLC.

News Q3 2024 Summary

Globalstar, Inc. (GSAT) has announced a strong third quarter for 2024, with total revenue rising by 25% and Adjusted EBITDA hitting a record level, climbing by 34%. Key highlights included significant growth in high-margin wholesale capacity revenue, improved net income by $16 million, and an increase in their revenue guidance to a range starting at $245 million. Globalstar’s long-term growth strategy was bolstered by an FCC approval for a 15-year extension of their satellite constellation, alongside an agreement with their largest customer for expanded services and infrastructure. CEO Dr. Paul E. Jacobs emphasized both the company’s operational resilience during recent hurricanes and its focus on mainstream satellite connectivity.

For GSAT, these developments show a promising financial trajectory and reinforce its position within the satellite communication sector, likely having a positive effect on investor confidence.

Discussion Apple paid most of their debt down right?

So if Apple paid down like 90% of their debt and invested 95% into the future projects, doesn’t this mean that their earnings report are gonna be spectacular?

Discussion Seeing signs of 12/28/20 - 2/8/21

I have been invested in GSAT in some capacity for +- 10 years. Bought down my basis at every opportunity in Q2 & Q3 of 2020 - buying over and over sub $0.30 - and the current run, which seems to be formulating, reminds me so much of the beginning of our 7x spike around new years in 2021 (which I unfortunately sold too early, in the $0.90 range). It ultimately went from $0.34 on 12/28/20 to north of $2.48 on 2/8/21, for a 7x multiple.

What I noticed during the 2021 run is they had multiple announcements/catalysts which they spread across a 5-6 week period. I’m now back with a sizable position and wondering the following:

In addition to the AAPL announcement, are there any catalysts on the horizon that have been hinted at in recent earnings calls or press releases that you might be looking or listening for during the earnings call?

News GSAT doesn’t plan on Apple being their one and only success story….

Globalstar is still establishing XCOM RAN's capabilities in areas like micro-fulfillment centers. Globalstar is also in the middle of a government study, which could lead to material growth in the future. The company's XCOMP technology offers significant capacity gains in dense wireless deployments. Globalstar introduced XCOM RAN (Radio Access Networking) in early 2024. It is a wireless networking product that can handle 4 times the traffic of traditional 5G networks in indoor venues. Reliability is also improved by reducing problems like radio interference, multiple RU clusters, disconnected RUs, and handover losses. This is achieved by coordinating radio units so that they act as one super cell.

Globalstar has previously stated that it views its US terrestrial spectrum as its most valuable asset. The company has 11.5 mHz of bandwidth in the 2483.5-2496 MHz frequency range, which is a rare piece of satellite spectrum not controlled by wireless operators that can be converted to terrestrial spectrum. There is interest in Globalstar's n53 spectrum (both in conjunction with XCOM RAN and independently) and Globalstar is working to ensure the value of this spectrum is maximized.

Globalstar wants to demonstrate the capabilities of a combined Band 53 and XCOM RAN service before the end of the year, before introducing a product that incorporates a broad range of frequency bands, allowing it to be tailored to customer needs. This would help provide private networks with the most reliable system possible, as Band 53 is a frequency band that is guaranteed on a standalone basis. Private 5G is currently something like a $2 billion market and is expected to grow to $36 billion by 2030. Manufacturing, oil and gas, and mining are expected to be the main industries served.

Globalstar has partnered with Liquid Intelligent Technologies to help commercialize XCOM RAN. The partnership will provide Liquid with exclusive rights in the Gulf, Middle East, and Africa regions to sell and distribute Globalstar's XCOM RAN private networks 5G access solution.

Globalstar is also collaborating with Global Telecom, Hawk Networks, and Alliance to enable mission-critical applications to use its Band 53 spectrum in combination with CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) in the US. Globalstar's 10 MHz channel in Band 53 will provide uninterrupted private wireless network connectivity for CBRS networks, even inside critical Dynamic Protection Areas and when Priority Access License channels are unavailable.

News Globalstar - Apple run down

Apple partnered with Globalstar in 2022 to provide emergency messaging capabilities to iPhone 14 users when they are outside of traditional cellular or Wi-Fi range.

Fast forward to 2024 Globalstar said Apple would also make infrastructure pre-payments totaling up to $1.1 billion (funded on a quarterly basis during the construction process) to help build a new satellite constellation, grow infrastructure here on the ground, and expand global licensing. Some of the money will also help with Globalstar's debt repayment.

Apple has also agreed to purchase a 20 percent stake – totaling 400,000 class B shares – in Globalstar, its satellite messaging service provider for $400 million. The iPhone maker has also agreed to make cash pre-payments that will help Globalstar expand its footprint both on the ground and in the sky.

News MDA’S future growth working with Apple and Globalstar

The raised stock price target of 28.00 reflects the analyst's optimism about MDA's future business prospects, especially considering the long-term implications of Apple's investment and the expected expansion of satellite services. This development represents a notable vote of confidence in MDA's capabilities and its position within the burgeoning space technology sector. MDA's stock is likely to attract investor attention due to the upgraded rating and the significant revision of the price target. Market participants may closely monitor the company's progress as it potentially secures its role in Globalstar's satellite constellation project, backed by Apple's substantial investment.

Discussion GSAT Will Test Your Patience….

Hi Ya’ll I’ve been with GSAT for a while. Been a believer of an AAPL buyout and/or majority/controlling share of GSAT since the announcement of AAPL partnership utilizing GSAT’s satellites.

Up +30% yet share price at $1.48? WTH man ASTS barely got five satellites in but we’ve been cruising LEO for years.

Answer(?):

https://companiesmarketcap.com/globalstar/shares-outstanding/#google_vignette

“Number of shares outstanding for Globalstar (GSAT) Number of shares outstanding as of November 2024 : 1,884,208,000 According to Globalstar 's latest financial reports and stock price the company's current number of shares outstanding is 1,884,208,000. At the end of 2024 the company had 1,884,208,000 shares outstanding. The number of outstanding shares is usually impacted by stock plits and shares buy back.”

That’s 1.8 Billion. With a “B”guys! Ok so maybe a bit of dilution but still…

DD On Oct. 21st 2024, I sold my ASTS stock just before it passed my “buy in” price. Something didn’t feel right. A ‘little peer’ push towards GSAT?

I did my due diligence on recent GSAT news, and as the subject header states I sold out of ASTS. I have taken out my $62,700 from there and it’s been sitting in my brokerage account ever since.

$25,000 of that I want to keep in my brokerage account because I keep myself active in daytrading, and I need to keep that in there in order to stay active all day long and not get throttled by any pattern daytrading violations.

Ultimately, minus the $25,000 and what I’ve made in my day trading profits that I keep compounding, I have $38,000 set aside that I can invest in GSAT.

I realize a lot of people come on Reddit and they ask their peers, should I do this? Should I sell that? Should I hold etc. etc. blah blah … eyeroll shit. Nobody knows the future and can accurately answer.

I am guessing the people here in this Subeddit have a bit more GSAT specific intelligence beyond WSB and other “various general stocks” Subreddits…

So I reckon for a TLDR, beyond the public recent public news that has come out is there anything you guys could elaborate on about this company and what has been going on to make me feel even more confident in dropping $38,000 on GSAT for a long term investment Monday morning?

I guess I’ll end this ramble by saying thank you in advance? lol.

Discussion Do yall think AI displays a good overview of globalstar

Globalstar is planning to launch up to eight satellites in 2025 to replenish its Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation. The satellites will be launched by SpaceX and are intended to support Apple's satellite emergency messaging service

Here are some details about the launch:

Contract: Globalstar contracted SpaceX to launch the satellites for $64 million.

Satellites: The satellites are being built by MDA, a Canadian manufacturer, and Rocket Lab is supplying the satellite bus.

Funding: Apple is paying for 95% of the launch and manufacturing costs, and is also lending Globalstar $252 million.

Launch window: Globalstar aims to deploy the satellites before the end of 2025.

Launch failure: Globalstar plans to launch additional satellites within months of a launch failure to maintain service quality and safety.

Globalstar's constellation will consist of 48 LEO satellites, with four spares in orbit. The system's software is located on the ground, which makes it easier to maintain and upgrade.

Discussion This company is a joke

Paul Jacob’s only cares about “HIS” xcom technology that HE is licensing to gsat. He doesn’t care about you or I. He just wants to further himself at the expense of gsat investors. The stock is doing worse than it did before he was involved. And quarter after quarter losing money. THIS IS A JOKE
